In a fit of rage and desperation, Yakazu seized a kitchen knife and repeatedly stabbed him senseless. With nothing to lose and consumed by grief and hatred, Yakazu set fire to the establishment, watching as the searing inferno engulfed her once-home. She lived on with the grief of the situation.
