As Anya leaves, Kabir watches her with a slight frown, his jaw tight. He can't shake the feeling that this girl is going to be more trouble than he expected.

Aunty (sighing softly to Kabir): "She's young, Kabir. You don't have to be so hard on her.

"Kabir (shaking his head): "She doesn't follow any discipline. That's the problem

Anya's friends pick her up, and she spends the day at college, but her thoughts keep drifting back to Kabir's strictness. By the end of the day, her curiosity about Kabir's rules and behavior grows.

After returning from college...

, Anya sees Kabir working in the living room, typing away on his laptop. He doesn't look up as she enters the house.

Anya (mocking his formal tone): "Good evening, Mr. Roy. Busy day, I see."Kabir glances up, unimpressed.

Kabir (dryly): "Some of us have responsibilities, Miss Anya.

"She rolls her eyes and plops onto the couch, dropping her bag noisily on the floor.
Sid enters the room, sensing the tension.

Sid (grinning): "Hey, Anya. How was college?"
Anya (shrugging): "Same old. Met a professor who is almost as strict as your brother.

"Kabir shoots her a sharp look, but she just smirks.Kabir (coldly): "Discipline builds character. You might want to learn that before it's too late.

"Anya (leaning back, crossing her arms): "Character? Or boredom?
"Sid looks between them, sensing the argument brewing.

Sid (lightly): "C'mon, guys. It's not a debate. Anya, wanna join me for a game? It'll help you unwind.

"Kabir's face tightens slightly. He clears his throat.Kabir: "Games? You just got back from college, Sid. You should be focusing on your studies, not wasting time.
"Sid sighs but doesn't argue. Anya, however, can't resist.
Anya (smirking, taunting): "Wow, Mr. Roy. Is there a rule for everything? Maybe you should write a manual.

"Kabir (setting his laptop aside, standing up): "You seem to have a problem with structure, Miss Anya. Maybe that's why you're struggling to respect the rules of this house.
"Anya (standing up too, facing him): "Respect? I don't mind rules, but you're running this place like a prison. Lighten up a little."The tension in the room rises as the two stand, eye-to-eye.
Sid looks anxious, trying to intervene.Sid (nervous chuckle): "Okay, okay, let's all just calm down. Anya, Kabir just likes things orderly, that's all.

"Kabir (not breaking his gaze from Anya): "Sid, you don't need to defend me. Some people don't understand the value of discipline until it's too late.
"Anya clenches her jaw, stepping closer.

Anya (challenging): "And some people don't realize that there's more to life than following a rulebook."For a moment, it feels like the room is frozen in the tension between them. Sid steps in between them, forcing a smile.Sid (trying to diffuse the tension):

"Anya, didn't you say you wanted to check out that café down the street? Let's go, huh?
"Anya (glaring at Kabir before sighing, relenting): "Fine. Let's go, Sid."She grabs her bag and heads for the door with Sid. Before she leaves, she turns back and gives Kabir one last look.Anya (sarcastically): "See you later, Mr. Roy. Try not to have too much fun with your spreadsheets."Kabir (calm but with a sharp edge): "And you, Miss Anya, try not to stay out too late. This house has rules.
The Café... InsightsLater, at the café, Anya and Sid are sitting at a cozy table.

Anya stirs her coffee, still fuming.Anya (frustrated): "What's his deal, Sid? Why is Kabir so... controlling?
"Sid (sighing, looking conflicted): "He wasn't always like that. I think... after our dad passed, he felt like he had to take over. Be the responsible one, keep everything in check.
"Anya softens slightly, surprised by the new information.Anya (gently): "Oh... I didn't know.
"Sid (nodding): "Yeah, he holds himself to impossible standards, like he's carrying the whole family on his shoulders. And sometimes, he takes it out on us with all these rules.
"Anya (thoughtful, feeling a little guilty): "That's... a lot of pressure for one person."Sid nods, stirring his own drink.Sid: "Yeah, but you two... man, the way you clash. I've never seen anyone stand up to him like you do.
"Anya (smirking): "Well, someone has to. He can't go through life being this rigid. It's exhausting just watching him."Sid chuckles, but there's a sadness in his eyes.Sid (quietly): "Maybe he just needs someone to show him there's more to life than work and rules.
"Anya (smiling softly): "Maybe. Or maybe he just needs to loosen up and let people live."Scene: Back at the HouseWhen Anya and Sid return home later that evening, the house is quiet. Kabir is nowhere to be seen, but Aunty greets them warmly.
Aunty (smiling): "Oh, you two are back! Did you have a good time?
"Anya (grinning): "Yeah, it was fun. Just needed to get out for a bit.
"As they head upstairs, they pass by Kabir's room. The door is slightly ajar, and Anya glances inside, half-expecting to see him working late again. But instead, she sees Kabir sitting by the window, staring out into the night, looking... lost in thought.Anya pauses, her previous frustration softening. For the first time, she sees him not as "Mr. Roy," the rule enforcer, but as someone carrying a heavy burden.
Anya (whispering to herself): "Maybe Sid's right. Maybe there's more to him than the rules."She quietly walks away, leaving Kabir to his thoughts, but something has shifted in her perception of him.
