Once upon a time, in a land not your own, in a land of gods and goddesses, in a land of magic and potions, there was a story about the god of peace and purity, it went "The god of peace walked in the peaceful meadow that Mother Nature had made for him, petting the wildlife when they came to him. when the god of corruption came, scaring all of the wildlife away. The God of Peace asked the other what they wanted only for the god of corruption to propse to him, but the god of peace laughed appolgizing saying, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh but the only way I could ever marry someone is in their dreams." The god of Peace said, staring at his willow tree. The god of corruption was enraged by the god of peace's answer and shoved him onto the ground, grabbing him by his feet and dragging him away to the god of corruption's dungeon and taking away his voice."
Not many people believe this story to be true, and some still pray to the God of Peace and Purity. They think he's in a long sleep when he doesn't answer.
But the tale is true, I'm trapped in prison for not wanting to marry the god of corruption, Kage, who took away my voice and told me the only way to get it back was to marry him. I've been banging on everything I can in this dumb cell, but no one can hear me. I wonder how my people and Kage's sons are doing. They were like me, peaceful. Maybe they were being treated nicely. "Why are you two here? You should be playing on Earth, not here, not at my prison. Cain, Abaddon, go home, now!"A voice said... I recognize it but I don't remember where I remember it from. "Father, please! Tell us why you made this place and where did the god of peace go?! We know he's not asleep, and some of the humans have been saying you imprisoned him! So tell us where he is!" "Cain is right, Father. Tell us where he is." two other voices said, and I knew they were Kage's kids, at the realization of who the voices were, I started banging on the door again to see if they would know where I was. Then I heard footsteps, an explosion, and then nothing. I was alone in my cell, with no sounds to be heard. What happened?
Then I hear what I think is someone walking, and a cell being opened and closed. I then hear three people walking and coming close to my cell. I hear three people talking, then I hear nothing. I look through the bars and see three boys. I can tell two are Cain and Abaddon, Kage's sons, but the other one is a new face to me. Cain and Abaddon have a lot pale skin, and the new one has brown skin. Cain and Abaddon have red and black hair, and the new person has silver hair. Cain has red eyes, Abaddon has black, and this new person has emerald-green eyes. This new person has so much plant life around them, and their outfit looks like they were living in the woods. Cain and Abaddon are wearing hoodies and jeans. The new person has this aura, a life aura, while Cain and Abaddon have this destructive aura. "...Axel? Is that you?" Cain ask. I couldnt help but feel surprised to hear my name. No one but them has ever known my real name. I responded to them in sign language, saying, 'Yes, it's me. How did you guys find out what your father has done?' "Not important right now. Let's get you out of here. Also, this is Florian," Abaddon said, I nodded and they led me out of the prison that Kage had trapped me in.
As we walk out, three more people appear. All of them give off a weird arua... the same kind of aura that I know demigods have... Florian has that kind of arua too... one of the strangers has pale skin, and black hair, and is wearing an outfit that looks like one resembles a reaper with just no weapon or hood, Something that caught my eye is that they have withered flowers that cover their eyes and go around their head. Another one has braided hair that looks like the galaxy, with star-filled eyes(by that I mean their eyes are black with stars, no pupils from what I can see), and a silky purple shirt and black dress pants. The last one had coral in their hair, which was a light ocean blue, their eyes seemed to hold a river, and their outfit was a peach Hawaii shirt and peach-colored shorts. The three kids stared at me as if I was a prisoner who was being led to their death before looking towards Cain and Abaddon, who were clinging to my arms as we left the prison, with Florian walking behind me, and everywhere that Florian had stepped, Flowers had bloomed under his feet... The only person who could do that is Mother Nature or as I know her, Flora... weird... Anyway, I need to find out who these kids are. Also, if I become a father figure to all of them I am changing my role from being the god of peace to the god of parenthood, I swear... or maybe I will become both? "Um hey, Axel? What happened to you? Why did he lock you up? We were only told by humans what he did a little bit before we came to get you," Cain Asks, to which I respond in sign language 'He got mad that I won't marry him so he decided to keep me prisoned and also to take away my voice, now who are they? and do they know sign language because if they don't, talking to them will be very hard...'
"Oh um, the one with the withered flowers is named Onni, and the one with the braid is Blair. Oh, And the one with coral in his hair that refuses to take it out is Kai" Abaddon told me before turning to the kids and asking them "Do you guys know sign language? Our dad took his voice away for a stupid reason."
"Nope"
"Not at all"
"No, but I'm willing to learn!"
"A little bit."
They answered... Welp talking to them will get frustrating as they won't know what I'm saying, well besides from Onni, he said he knows a little bit of sign language but still, probably not enough to understand me fully. "We need to go, Dad could wake up any second now and he is mad that we turned on him," Cain said, he sounded worried, though I found it funny that the only thing his dad had been able to do to me was Lock up both me and my voice, and I do not want my voice back to be completely honest... They are leading me farther away from the Prison. "Axel, do you know where he is keeping your voice? We have to get it back." Onni asked me...why do they want to get my voice back? I'm good with sign language.
Besides, I've gotten used to it without it. With my voice, it would feel weird. So I signed "I'm not sure, but there's no need to keep looking for it. Honestly, it would feel strange to have it back now after all this time without it." "Axel said he doesn't know, but if he had to guess where it is, it would be somewhere that dad is, and he wants it back," Abaddon said, and now I was pissed off because he had just lied about what I said, I'm fine without my voice! How do I tell them he lied? They don't know sign language... This isn't fair... "That's not what he said, I know enough sign language to know that!" Onni said, as we walked before continuing, "I don't know what he said word for word but I know that he said we don't need to look for his voice or something long those lines!" He said, his tone as sharp as a grim reaper scythe.
"Why did you not tell us you can understand that much!" Abaddon exclaimed... While these two are now arguing, Cain guides us through the rock lands that the prison was on, I knew where we were, the Island is called the "Home of chaos" It's one of the two islands that the god of corruption was allowed to be in control of, seeing as unlike all of the other gods & goddesses, he wants everything all rocky and difficult to live in unlike all of the other gods & goddesses, the other gods & goddesses only want a few mountains, not mountains everywhere like Kage. The other Island he has is called "Island of the Insane" or something like that. I also know the way on this island as all gods have to approve of creating islands and be able to make their way from one place to the end of the land. Onni & Abaddon are in the middle of this group they've made, everyone else is chatting, and I see Florian asking Cain where we're going, while Blair and Kai are talking about starfish, Onni & Abaddon are still yelling at each other... I decided to use my power to make them feel calm and peaceful as I can tell if they continue this, someone might break many bones.
After a little bit, my power took over. Kai & Blair had stopped talking, while Florian moved to the back, Onni & Abaddon had calmed down for now. So we're walking in peace & quiet so if someone is approaching, everyone can hear them. I say it's a good thing we went quiet as we were being followed, everyone could hear the sound of heavy footsteps. So all of us stopped, and the footsteps continued for a little bit after. I think I was the last one to turn around but when I did I saw Kage, with his disgusting greasy black hair and red highlights, horns that looked like broken antlers, Bloodshot eyes with a freaky smile, and he was wearing a fancy vest and red dress pants with matching dress shoes that didn't match his appearance. He stood in front of us with a sword in hand and charged at us with his sword, but before he could hit one of us I made his sword fly out of his hands and barrow into one of the mountains next to us.
"Everyone run!" Kai screamed before everyone ran into the mountains, well almost everyone, I felt frozen, and I could tell it was Kage using one of his powers on me. I couldn't do anything as his power wasn't letting me do anything. "Axel, what are you doing?" "I think Kage is using one of his powers on him." "He can't move, idiot!" "Not the time to fight Guys! Florian, can you, I don't know, summon a vine to carry him?" "Not yet, I have to work hard if I want that power." "I can get him." I don't know who said what as there are 6 people in this group that I'm with, what I do know is that Onni is dragging me away and Kage is throwing a temper tantrum over not getting me, like he is a little kid. As we ran (well I was still being dragged but shush), we came across a cliff that led right into the ocean and there was a large boat with a weird flag on the top everyone jumped on(I was pushed).
The second I was on the boat I could move. I heard yelling from the Island, but could barely hear what was said or who said it. I could see Kai steering the boat, Florian looking over me for any injuries, Cain & Abaddon fighting, and Onni and Blair talking to each other. Pretty sure when I was pushed onto the boat, the break-off of Kage's power, made me feel disoriented. I couldn't make out anything being said, and I felt dizzy. I'm pretty sure I blacked out.
When I came back to reality, I noticed the ship we were on was in the middle of nowhere, no one was around, and the dock was empty. It was nighttime, the sky was clear, the ocean was at peace, everything was fine. Then I saw a figure in the water, they had light ocean blue hair with coral and Starfish like Kai(minus the starfish), and their eyes seemed to hold the sea. Their outfit was a long silky dress that looked fit for a queen, with coral and starfish stuck to it. I knew who it was immediately, she's my long tern best friend, the goddess of the sea, Kaimana. She jumped on board the ship. "Axel! Where have you been? All of the other gods and goddesses have been worried sick about you!" I just realized she knows sign language! 'Kage kidnaped me and took away my voice as he wanted to marry me for some reason' She reasoned after I finished signing. "Kage did What?! I swear on my title he will never do that to you again! As long as you are on or near the water, trust me when I say, you and your mortal friends on this ship will be safe. I will tell all of the other gods I promise. Now tell me, did he do anything else to you?" I shook my head. "Good, my son is on this ship, I will give him the order to protect you no matter what." I just signed 'Got it'. Then she dove back into the water. She might look like her true self to me, but to others, she looked like an elegant tiger shark swimming in the waters, hunting her prey.
