Chapter Forty: "Romantic styles."

Nervousness was an understatement to what Haechan was currently feeling.

Sitting at a round table, they were currently at the 127 dorm gathered with all their hyungs for dinner. The atmosphere was calm with lively chatter but it would not be for long.

Not after him and Mark say what they came to say.

The restlessness was killing Haechan. He was so worried about how the hyungs would react to their relationship that he could not even properly get jealous of Yuta clinging onto Mark.

"Are you okay? You're eating real slow today," Taeyong asked from across Haechan.

Haechan's head whipped up and he nodded a little too quick. "Yeah hyung, I'm fine."

"Yah, eat this," Doyoung passed over something.

"Thanks hyung," Haechan accepted, barely registering what it was.

Mark's eyes caught Haechan's, and he passed a small smile to the younger even though he was feeling no better.

"Oh, I heard you two are going to live together!" Johnny brought up from beside Haechan. "Taeyong said you even got the apartment."

The table immediately engaged in the topic.

"How'd that happen though?" Jungwoo asked curiously. "Who had the idea?"

"It was mine," Mark owned up.

Jaehyun had an amused expression on his face. "Funny how you wanted to leave the company because of him back then."

Laughter erupted as they all started talking about the old Markhyuck fights though the subjects of the topics were currently still tense about how to break it to them.

"Times really have changed," Taeyong said nostalgically.

"You two sure that you can live together alone?" Doyoung brought up. "I hope one of you doesn't kill the other."

"Ten bucks that Haechan would be the one to kill Mark," Jungwoo announced.

This resulted in a defence too strong for Mark by Yuta which brought Johnny up to defend Haechan's murder capabilities.

Johnny thought he was doing Haechan a favour.

He was not.

Haechan did not realise how murderous he seemed.

"In all seriousness though, it might even be harder than dorm life since it's only two of you and not a group setting," Taeyong said, recalling his conversations with the two exo hyungs that still lived together. "But you've known each other for a decade so I hope you really do know what you're up for."

Mark and Haechan nodded silently.

"Okay, spit it out," Johnny said out of nowhere.

Everyone looked at him with confusion but he was looking at the two maknaes with a knowing expression. "You two have been looking like a rock is stuck down your throats. What do you want to tell us?"

Curse Johnny and his observation skills.

"You have something you want to say to us?" Doyoung asked in a mother-like voice.
