So occasionally(often) I have writers block for my main story. Most of the time I solve this by working on my other stories that are not published(yet) but I feel guilty when I tell people that I have a set schedule and then throw it out the window when I just can't write on my main story.
This is how I solved that.
I love my characters and I love putting them in different situations and learning how they work. This will work mainly to help me get over writers block and better understand my characters but sometimes I'll just write things for this specifically. Sometimes things just inspire me and I want to write it even though it doesn't quite fit with my main story.
