"Hela!" my dad yelled from the other side of the apartment. It was Saturday morning I had the right to sleep in at least until 8:00.
I groaned and rolled onto my side, I hastily unwrapped myself fork the lime green sheet and got out of bed.
I walked down the corridor and made my way to the living room that connected to the kitchen.
My dad sat at the counter with a cup of coffee in his hand, still wearing his pajama bottoms and old t-shirt that he wore to bed.
"Good morning." I chimed, walking to sit by my dad.
"Morning Sleeping Beauty."
I smiled and looked out the window beside us, our apartment had a perfect brow of the New York skyline as well as the stark tower. In the morning it looked like a bunch of push pins but during the night it was bustling with lights that resembled fire flies.
"What time are we heading to SHEILD today?"
He took a sip of coffee as I got up and made myself a piece of toast with apricot jam.
"In about an hour."
I nodded and sat back down, eating my piece of toast as well as a random Apple that I had cut up.
My mornings are dull, I know that but the rest my day is the exact opposite. It was almost straight out of a comic book, super heroes, secret agencies, a hero team, and well me playing the fabulous role as...(DRUM ROLE PLEASE) the random girl every one is trying to figure out because of her odd powers.
Yeah, take that in. Ok. So here's the jist of it, my dad isn't really my dad. I just call him that because I've lived with him since the day I was born. His barn really is Steve Rogers aka Captain America.
Truth be told, I don't know my dad, all I'm allowed to even know is that I am from Asgaurd and that somehow Thor is my uncle. And apparently my father has some crazy powers as well, so I just kinda inherited the powers to a point. I don't know the logic behind it but I've always tried to.
After I finished my jam and toast I made my way back to my bedroom. I threw on a pair of grey leggings, a light green shirt, and a grey jean jacket. I laced up my light green converse and went back to the kitchen where I met my dad. He was ready for the day, he wore a white T and simple jeans.
"Ready to go princess?" he asked.
I popped a mento into my mouth and said,"When am I not ready?"
He smiled and took me out of the door and to the streets of New York. He put his finger down to his ear and called,"Fury bring the Hellicarier down were ready."
The man on the other line agreed as we walked to a deserted park. The Hellicarier was brought down just long enough for us to get on then go back to being in the sky.
I was greeted warmly by Agent Phil Colsin he poleitly ordered,"Hela will you please meet Bruce in the lab, he believes to have some understanding for you and your power capacity."
I nodded and bid farewell to the super soldier and made my way to the lab.
As o walked to the lab everyone around me whispered savor a new prisoner form Asgaurd, I listened in hearing every word.
I thought to myself that it wouldn't hurt to take a slight detour form the lab and check out the prisoner. But however I couldn't just waltz up to the cell I had to do it secretly.
I quickly walked into a small weapons closet and changed my appearance, making myself look like Agent Charlotte, a random in the world if SHEILD who coincidentally wouldn't be showing up to work until later that day.
I walked out of the closet, getting down strange looks from other agents. I smirked and walked to the cells. If anyone found out about this is be in so much trouble, however Fury's one eye can't see through my disguises.
The normal prisoners sat in their cells but when I saw Thor standing in front of one in particular I knew that's where the newbie was.I walked behind Thor taking a quick look at the prisoner.
But as I looked into the man's emerald eyes I collapsed into the floor. My body became unable to function as my disguise disappeared.
"Hela?!" Thor boomed as he hastily picked me up form my limp arm. As he touched my limb I let out a deafening scream. The pain I felt corded into my whole right side.
Thor quickly let go letting me back to the floor, he didn't want to hurt me further.
As I furrowed my brows and attempted to pull myself up I saw the prisoner, his expression was priceless he looked as if he'd seen a ghost. He swiftly turned his head to Thor and started to shout at him,"SHE WAS HERE ALL THIS TIME?! HOW DARE YOU KEEP HER WITH MY ENEMIES?!"
Thor scooped me up despite my pain and carried me to a meeting room where my dad stood with his back to the door.
"Steve." Thor said sternly. My father turned around and saw me in Thor's arms. His expression intensified as he questioned,"What the hell happened?"
Thor leaned in to the soldier and whispered something so quiet even I couldn't hear it.
My dad's eyes widened as he took me from my uncle's arms.
"Hela we're going home."
I shoved myself out of his arms, I had started to feel better.
"Why? I mean I know I'm in trouble but I've done worse!" I argued.
He looked at me sternly and said,"Its not safe for you here right now."
I balled my hands into fists, my temper rising as I shouted,"When has that err stopped you? Almost all of red skull's army was here and you don't even hesitate bringing me in!"
He swiftly turned around and sternly yelled,"Hes your godamn father, Hela!"
