Roman's  pov

Aurora! I shouted as I rushed down the stairs behind her.
She acted as if though she couldn't hear me. I quickly grabbed her arm as she was almost about to step outside of the pack house. I yank her
to my chest and curl my arm around her waist, my eyes meeting her smoldering gaze.

"Let me go, Roman". She hissed trying to pry my hands off her.

"I'm sorry. I apologize, staring into her big green orbs wanting to get lost in them. I'm sorry.... I'm sorry for not being completely honest with you from the beginning and also lashing out on you. Non of this is your fault, please can we just stop fighting and forget this ever happened l? I hate this tension between us, I hate being away from you Aurora, the distance is killing me."

Her gaze softened, a small smile dances on her pretty pink lips.
" I'd like that too and I'm also sorry for believing Damien over you. I promise it won't happen again. I trust you Roman.... I do completely."

I tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.
I know you do and I know my brother has this way of manipulating people into believing every lie that comes out of his mouth.  It's over now, I've told you everything, there isn't any secrets between us anymore.  I said, my voice sounding almost like a whisper and I want to put this behind us and forget it ever happened. Dwelling in the past brings back nothing but painful memories that I wish to forget."

" I understand." She smiled placing her hands on either sides of my face leaning in and pressing her lips against mine.

Once she kissed me, my heart slowed, every muscle in my body relaxed. How much I need her terrifies me. I'm obsessed and addicted to her that I will gladly do absolutely anything to see her happy.

"I love you." She says, her voice sounding raspy.
A content sigh slips through my lips as I lean my forehead against hers.
"And I love you too my beautiful mate."

This is all I ever want and need until my very last breath is to be with her, her touch relaxes me and her scent soothes me, Aurora is like a drug to me.
She's my everything, my soul, my breath and my world without her I'm basically nothing, she's the one that lights up my life and puts a smile on my face, my little mate.

"I think we should go to bed, I said as I slowly tore myself away from her.
we have a long day tomorrow and you need all the rest you can get."

She sucked in a breath and bit her lower lip causing my throat to rumble in a faint growl.
"Before we go to bed there's something I want to tell you, Roman."

I smiled tipping her chin to meet my gaze. "I'm sure whatever it is can wait until tomorrow morning, right now you need to get some sleep, you look exhausted."
"Fine." She grumbled.
I chuckled lifting her off the ground and into my arms.

Aurora's pov

The green vast fields around the dark moon pack were beautiful. The peaceful town could be seen from the pack house, the golden sunshine made everything seem upbeat and hopeful.
Last night Roman and I spent the night here at the pack house in one of the guests rooms.

A let out a deep sigh turning my back against the window and staring at my sleeping mate.
It's almost 8am and he hasn't awoken.
As soon as we got into bed last night , Roman was out like a light. He was tired and I doubt he had a good sleep in days especially with the planning of the masquerade ball which took up most of his time and energy.

Maybe I should let him rest a little more and see if everything's in order with his beta.
I slowly walk closer to the bed and lean down, placing a soft kiss on his temple.
Suddenly a loud yelp tears through my lips as I'm being pulled onto the bed and into his arms.

"Goodmorning beautiful." He said in a husky voice.
"I thought you were asleep?" I asked as I adjusted myself in his arms.
"I was but then I realized the other side of the bed was empty and why are you awake? When you should be sleeping."

"Roman, I have so much to do in so little time and I don't have anything to even wear to the ball which means I needs to go shopping."

"Don't bother, I've already got it sorted out." He said as he began nuzzling my neck.
My brows furrowed. "You got me a dress for the ball?" I asked.
"Yeah I did a few days ago." He answered.

"Okay.... I muttered, twisting my neck around to meet his gaze. So I guess I should thank you.?" I smiled.
"Yeah and I think you know exactly how to." He smirked pulling me tighter against his chest.
