Mentor or should I say Grunda known as nera's brother stared at the wiggling infant in his sister's arms." Sister please don't tell me you kidnapped a child."

Deena scoffed." No dear brother, she's my child and her real name is Solus ,but I have a human name picked out for her."

Why?

"So she can learn to live among humans and become the next ruler in time."

15 years later.

I wanted to join the Guild and becoming a Nexomon trainer and today, it was finally time. Time for me to join my friends and become a Nexomon trainer!

"Sierra, put down that book and outside so we can begin your initiation test to becoming members of the Nexomon guild!" Nora said, at me nodding at that as I put down my book and followed after her.

My name is sierra , I'm a 15 year old girl with no parents and living a life as an orphan along with a bunch of other kids, most of whom were much younger than me. I had light blue hair in a bun and I was wearing a blue hood and blue skirt and a pair of brown socks with boots, and a bag of snacks since I knew I'd have to get used to walking in the dense wilderness and lost cities when I became a guild member.

I then got outside to see the others were already out there and prepared, me smiling at the trio of friends there. First, there was Nora, a pink-haired girl with a lot of brains and a lot of sass. She was dressed with a green hat on her head, a white shirt with a green leaf-shaped necktie, and a skirt of green with white plaid marks on it.

Then there was Ross, who was just as fiery and brash in personality as his orange hair was spiky. He was dressed in blue jeans, a yellow neckerchief, a black shirt with a zipper going up towards the right of his collar, and he had a pair of yellow goggles on his head.

And finally, my best friend and comical buddy, Coco the cat. Being a highly intelligent cat, Coco also had big dreams and decided it best to be my partner when we would go out to adventure, mostly since he was a cat and didn't get the same kind of legalities as human tamers. But he was always there to add comical relief to any situation, while also being as blunt and wanting to have the most normal adventure possible, which I always smiled at and mocked him for it, but in a friendly kind of way.

"There you are, sierra ! I hope you're properly prepared for the initiation test today?" the mentor of the orphanage asked, him being one of the kindest and eldest person I knew. He was also the one who not only took me in when I was just a baby.

"Today is the turning point in your lives where you no longer are orphans, but instead a part of the family of guild tamers, helping others and saving lives with the help of Nexomon," Amelie said, me smiling at that.

"And we need just one Nexomon each in order to get registered, right?" I asked.

Amelie nodding. "Yes, as is tradition. The northern woods behind me is a good place to get a first Nexomon. You'll stay there until midnight and then I'll come in to check on you," Amelie said, Coco then groaning at that.

"So you're sending a bunch of kids and a talking cat into a forest until midnight? Why does that sound dangerous?" Coco asked, me smirking at that. He always knew what to say to annoy the more serious members of the group.

"Do not worry, nothing bad will happen in these ancient woods," Amelie smirked.

"Ugh... Clearly, you've never played an RPG before," Coco said, Amelie then doing what she did best when addressing Coco.

"JUST GO THERE AND GET YOUR NEXOMON ALREADY! AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU GET ONE! UGH!" Amelie exclaimed at the top of her lungs, me then getting our group ahead and into the forest and me smiling at Coco.
