*CASSIDYS POV*
I stared down at that message.
So many emotions rushed through me thinking about what Justin could have just sent to me, especially considering the last conversation we had before I left.
FLASHBACK
"I honestly wish I could stay here with you Justin but-" i said with regret in my voice.
"Then stay. I have room in my house for you and you can go to school with me! My mom won't mind!"
"Justin. I'm sixteen years old. I have to go home."
"Cassidy please!"
"Im sorry Justin, but i can't." i said as I sat down in the black leather seats of my aunts car watching Justin grow smaller and smaller in the rearview mirror as we drove towards the airport.
END OF FLASHBACK
My fingers slowly slide to unlock my iPhone screen.
My hand trembling, I clicked on the green message app.
Justin:
I miss you.
With that I almost broke down crying in front of everyone in my first period class.
I missed him more than anything.
The worst part of it all is that we were never going to see each other again and we both knew that.
I turned my phone back off and slid it back in my bag before my teacher could notice that I hadn't been paying attention to her lesson.
I glanced up at the clock that hung at the front of the classroom that read 9:00 am. I knew one thing for sure.
Today was going to be a long day.
