Tessa is a member of Azgeda, the only nightblood that's kept hidden. Queen Nia believes that she should be hidden for her safety so that no one tries to take her or even kill her. Tessa was always kept hidden for reasons that she never knew, she doesn't even know her blood is black, Nia couldn't risk her getting out and telling anyone. When she would get hurt during training, Roan and Nia would make sure to hide it from her and she was told not to touch her wounds or they would get infected.
Tessa was now looking through her mother's things to see if she could find something to wear that would help her blend in when Ontari walked in.
"What are you doing? The Queen wouldn't be too happy to know that her daughter is snooping through her things."
"Well I'm just looking for something to wear so that I could blend in, I want to go outside for once. I feel like a prisoner, I've been locked in here for the last 19 years, it's been horrible." Tessa was tired of it all, she felt like everyone was lying to her. She and Ontari met when they were kids and she seemed to trust her a lot more than she trusted her own mother.
"Come with me, I've got some things you can wear, they're gonna look a lot better than her clothing, they look like they are meant for old people." Tessa had followed Ontari to her closet and had help from her picking out an outfit from there. Tessa went to leave but Roan stopped her.
"Where do you think you are going?"
"Out, you can't keep me locked up my whole life." Tessa was so tired of being kept inside. She wanted to go out and explore, she wanted to meet new people and make some friends.
"Fine, but I'm going with you."— a few days after the landing —
Bellamy remembered the day that his younger sister was born and he wanted to find her. He wouldn't even know what she looks like but he was going to try his best to find her. He had told Octavia about her but she didn't believe that their sister was real. She thought that Bellamy had made her up to help him cope with their mother's death because he didn't mention her until after they landed.
Octavia really thought Bellamy was losing it. If she was real then how come this is the first time he is mentioning her? She wondered. Octavia was looking for Bellamy and caught him leaving camp.
"Hey! Wait up!," she jogged over to him and stood in front of him. "Where are you going?"
"She has to be out there somewhere, if I can just find that dropship then it means she made it, all we have to worry about is whether I find an empty dropship or her remains.
Octavia sighed, knowing she wouldn't be able to stop him.
"Fine, but I'm coming with you."
They had left Clarke in charge and headed out looking for their sister. Octavia still didn't think that she existed but she wasn't about to let Bellamy go out there on his own, he may be an idiot but he was still her brother.— a few days later —
Tessa was in Polis, waiting to speak to the commander. She knew she was risking her life by being there since she's Azgeda, but she had to do something about the 100. She was getting ready to sit down when someone in a cloak walked up to her.
"Whoever you are, go away." Roan removed his hood and revealed himself to her.
"What the hell do you think you're doing here?"
"Azgeda has no place here! Leave before I remove you myself." Indra spoke as she walked over to Roan giving him a look.
"That's enough!" Lexa motioned for Tessa to follow her inside so that's what she did. "What would you like to speak to me about?"
"The dropship, what's your plan with them?" Tessa knew they came from the sky and she wanted to get to know what space is like but she wouldn't be able to if they're dead.
"Wipe them all out, so that we have nothing to worry about."
"What if we didn't do that? What if we used them for supplies, kept them around? Maybe they have guns, they could help us keep the other clans in line... like Azgeda..."
"You really think they could be that useful?" Tessa nodded.
"I do."
"Okay then I will send one of my men to speak to their leader" Lexa went to walk out but Tessa spoke up.
"Send Lincoln, he knows one of them more than any of us, he's quite close her." Tessa walked past Lexa, leaving the room and going to find Lincoln.
Lincoln was the only one of Trikru that she trusted. He used to sneak into her room and give her food when her mother wouldn't let her out to eat. The day they met, she was sitting at her window, so bored she was carving characters into her wall with a knife she took from her mother. Lincoln noticed while he was there with his people trying to make temporary peace. He grabbed some bread and figured a way to get up to her window. At first she was scared, then she realized it was just another kid. He explained to her who he was and that she couldn't tell anyone, she accepted the food and thanked him. Ever since, every time he would come into Azgeda territory, he would go up and see her. Now they're adults and he still sneaks in and gives her food, recently he began telling her about Octavia.
