Next day arrived, both Vincent and Rody were hanging by a thread of tension. As they didn't know what the other was gonna do or say when they see each other.

Rody was very exhausted yet anxious due lack of sleep and now officially knowing Vincent was hiding something very very dark that involved his girlfriend. He obviously needed to find out for the sake of his well-being but did he really wanna know? He's not sure.
Yet he MUST know what is happening.
He just wanted to know where Manon is.

There's only one place he hasn't checked in the whole bistro: The Freezer.
This time he was gonna check inside, he didn't care about the customers anymore. Nor the so called reputation. Nor Vincent.

He never did anyway.

But he couldn't do that straight away, he needed to seem that he was working so Vincent wouldn't follow him around with his gaze as always.. He'll wait until Vincent walks into the office.

Without even realizing, Rody arrived to the bistro. Since his thoughts and worries fogged his mind his whole body moved automatically and hadn't even noticed that he got out of the house and rode his bike all the way to La Gueule de Saturne... Until he stopped and looked at the main door.

Rody closed his eyes and took a deep breath, remembering his plan but also preparing himself to encounter Vincent. He parked his bike and slowly approached the door before opening - the bell ringing as he did so. His heart beated quickly in his chest as he looked around slightly scared, thinking Vincent will sneak upon him or something... but there was nobody.

─ "... huh"

Rody mumbled calming slightly yet on guard as he slowly closed the door and went into the kitchen. It was completely empty, but soon the cooks will arrive as it was almost opening time.

Obviously however, Rody knew Vincent was in the bistro — it wouldn't be unlocked otherwise. As he was gonna go through the backdoor something caught his attention in the corner of his eye: smoke.

He turned his head slightly confused as he then saw the smoke came from under the door of Vincents office. On his tip toes he approached the door and couldn't hear anything.. This was exactly what happened last time on the day he quit.

Suddenly, the backdoor opened which startled Rody for a second before calming down as he saw the cooks walk in - guess it's time to work.
He took a deep breath and went back to the dining room to wait for customers to show up in which he'll force a smile and pretended everything was okay. It made Rody sick.
Where is his girlfriend.

Vincent was in fact in his office, smoking in a rather agitated manner once more, he hasn't felt like this ever since he knew Rody was going to quit.

Rody had both the necklace AND the freezers key which basically made him feel pure boiling anger inside. He felt stupid, pathetic. Used even. He's fucking up everything, this wasn't how the plan should go at all.

He rubbed the bridge of his nose while letting a groan, clenching his jaw while taking a drag of his cigarette.

─ "I shouldn't have hired him....I shouldn't have REhired him....I should have killed him.."

He grumbled. Vincent felt recked, mentally tired... angry.... hurt too.

─ "aghhh... deep breaths Vince.."

He spoke to himself quietly took a deep breath before he lit off his cigarette against the ashtray, closing his eyes.

─ ".. Let everything happen. It's no use now."
