The next day, Jay wakes up next to Loki, and his face goes red. What the...? Why...why is he next to me? Didn't he go back to his dorm last night? He notices how peaceful Loki looks when he's asleep.

Loki snores softly, clinging to Jay's arm as if it's the only thing that he feels safe with.

Jay smiles. He looks so cute...and peaceful... He notices hair falling into Loki face and without thinking, he brushes it away.

Loki slowly wakes up, his eyes fluttering open. "Morning." He mumbles.

Jay quickly takes his hand away. "M-morning."

Loki realizes how close they are, and his face goes red. "U-uh..." He sits up. "S-sorry about that."

Jay blushes as well. "It's fine." He notices some drool on Loki face and giggles.

"What?" Loki asks, confused.

Jay smiles. "You have some drool on your face. Let me get it." He wipes it away with his thumb.

Loki's face goes red. Ahhh!! Did he just— did I just— why did he— why did I— AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Jay chuckles. "You look like a tomato."

Loki rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, whatever."

Jay smiles. "Well, I think it's cute."

Loki's face goes even redder. "I-is that your attempt at flirting?"

Jay nods. "And it looks like it's working." He grabs Loki's chin.

Loki's face goes even redder. "You— uh I— I, uh— uhm—"

Jay chuckles and gete close to his face. "It's definitely working. You look like you're going to explode."

Loki's face goes even redder and he avoids eye contact. "Sh-shut up."

Jay pulls away. "Alright, alright." He takes his off Loki's chin. "I'm gonna get something to eat." He grabs his crutches and uses them to walk to the kitchen. "Augh...these are hard..."

"Do you need any help?" Loki asks.

Jay shakes his head, despite his clear struggling. "I've got it. I can take care of myself."

Loki shrugs. "Suit yourself, but I'm here if you need me."

Jay hobbles to the kitchen and attempts to make a bowl of cereal. Only, in doing so, he drops the box, spilling the cereal all over the floor. "Shit!" He tried to clean them up, but fails miserably. "Augh..." He slips on the cereal, landing on the same side he fell on yesterday. "MOTHERFUCKER!!" He shouts. "Fuck, fuck, fuck..." He tries to stand up, but fails.

Loki rushes over to him. "Jay!"

Jay winces. "I'm fine."

Loki picks Jay up and lays him on the couch. "One, you're not fine. Two, just ask for help."

"No!" Jay exclaims. He sits up. "I don't need help." He winces. He grabs his crutches and uses them to hoist himself up. "I'm fine. I don't need anyone's help. I can take care of myself."

Loki sighs. "Jay...you need to ask for help sometimes."

Jay rolls his eyes. "No I don't. I'm perfectly capable of handing myself."

Loki starts to get irritated. "Why won't you just let me—"

Jay turns around and looks at Loki, tears springing to his eyes. "Because asking for help makes me feel weak, okay!?" His voice echoes.
