It was just another day in the year 2024. 23 year old Leeya was watching an episode of the original Powerpuff Girls. However she was going through a hard time. She just had a breakup with her abusive boyfriend and she was also going through issues with her family. She was also pretty lonely as she didn't have many friends either. Especially because she had just moved away to another state.

Watching shows and movies from when she was a kid made her feel better though. Even though her parents and others told her it was childish. Mostly it was coming from her parents who just wanted her to grow up. Leeya often got into arguments with her parents trying to tell them that the stuff she likes is not just for kids, but they wouldn't listen to her.

Leeya wished there was someone who would understand her. Someone who loved similar stuff to her and didn't think it was just for kids. She also wished she had a friend or maybe even a boyfriend so she wouldn't be lonely. Little did she know her wish was about to come true.

After watching the episode of the Powerpuff Girls she decided to go on YouTube and watch some things about the creator of The Powerpuff Girls, Craig Mccracken. She then came across an old interview from 1995 he did when The powerpuff Girls were just starting out. It was from Coast to Coast with Space Ghost.

She was surprised to see that the creator of one of her favorite shows was actually really cute and funny. Most cartoonists were older and not as attractive, but Craig was different. At least back then he was. He was young and very attractive. His wife Lauren Faust was definitely a very lucky woman.

Although this particular interview was from before he even met her and before The Powerpuff Girls really took off.  He was definitely Leeya's type of guy. The long dark hair that was almost Timothee Chalamet style or Leonardo DiCaprio Style, the cute smile, and the adorable sense of humor.

But Leeya also loved his creativity and how smart he was. The fact he created such an amazing show like The Powerpuff Girls was incredible to her. And she loved that he seemed to think cartoons were for all ages and not just kids. He would've been someone who definitely would've understood her.

She wished that she could've met him back then and worked on The Powerpuff Girls with him. Perhaps maybe forming some kind of relationship. It felt crazy that she'd have a crush on someone like Craig McCracken although it was his young self she liked, but still. Nobody else ever had a crush on him except maybe for his wife Lauren who he met later on.

But Leeya couldn't help it. Even though others would probably think she's weird for liking young Craig McCracken. There was just something about him that she liked. Actually there was a lot about him that she liked. He was much different then her other celebrity crushes who were very famous and loved by many other girls. If only she was alive around the time that interview was made.

Leeya laid down on her bed with all those thoughts in her head. She then started to fall asleep. But she was suddenly awoken by a loud crash of thunder and lightning. It was storming out. Suddenly an electric portal was created in the sky by the lighting. Leeya was shocked. How could this be happening? And what was the portal even to?

Then it felt like her house was starting to go towards the portal. Leeya screamed. Unfortunately she was home alone because her parents were out. She tried to call them on her phone but it was no use. Her phone wasn't working because of the lighting portal.

Leeya then ran to her parents room where her dogs were. Luckily they were okay. But they were scared of the thunder and lighting and the house going towards the lighting portal. Leeya hid with her dogs in her parents big bathroom waiting for it to stop.

The house finally went through the lighting portal and suddenly everything stopped. There was no thunder or lighting anymore. Everything seemed quiet. Leeya got up and walked out of her parents bathroom and their room. Her dogs following behind.

She decided to investigate and went to the front door. Unlocking it and opening it up. She was surprised by what she saw. It was day time now and it was sunny out. But things seemed to be different. Leeya left the house with her dogs and started walking around. Everything seemed to be like the 90s.

The music, The movies and shows that were being advertised, Everyone's clothing and the older phones they carried around. It was all 90s style. Leeya then found a newspaper and saw the date. It was 1995. She was shocked. "Ella! Mozart! We aren't in 2024 anymore!" She told her dogs.

Somehow that lighting portal had transported Leeya back to the year 1995. She couldn't believe it. She had always wished she could've lived in the 90s and now she was. And not only was she in the 90s she was also in California. She had always wanted to go to California too and now she was there. During the best time to be there.

Leeya realized she was going to have to get new clothes to blend in. Luckily she had cash on her so she went to a shop and bought some new clothes that were 90s style. It was a crop top and pants like Britney Spears would wear. She was also wearing a scrunchie. Leeya loved scrunchies and she wore them all the time. Luckily they were very in style back then.

Leeya decided to explore some more. With her dogs following her behind. She suddenly saw the studio Craig Mccracken and many other Cartoon Network cartoonists worked at. The Hanna Barbera studio.
And there was Craig himself standing outside. He was on a phone call and seemed frustrated.

"Quitting?! You can't quit! I need all the help I can get to get my show green lit for a series! Please all I have is myself and some of my colleagues! Fine! I'll find someone else! Goodbye!" Then Craig got off the phone. Leeya approached him and they were suddenly face to face.

Craig blushed

Craig blushed. Who was this pretty red haired girl in front of him? "Uh hi can I help you?" He asked her.
"Hi I'm Leeya. I know it's not my business, but I was just wondering what's wrong? I'm sorry if I'm intruding." She said to him.

"No no your fine. I'm Craig and I'm trying to get my show called The Powerpuff Girls green lit for a series, but unfortunately its just me and a few of my buddies who are working on it and someone just quit so I have to find more help." He told her.

"Well I think maybe I could help you. I have plenty of great ideas. Plus I'd love to get to know you."
Leeya said to him with a smile.
"Well I don't usually bring in people off the street, but I'm desperate and there's something about you that I like. So okay you can help. And I'd love to get to know you too."
Craig smiled back.

The two of them were just smiling and blushing at each other for a while, but then Craig snapped out of it. "Uh follow me." He walked inside the studio and Leeya followed him. The inside of the studio looked amazing. There were pictures of all kinds of different Hanna Barbera shows and characters hanging up. Like The Flinstones, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Yogi Bear, Tom & Jerry, Etc.

Leeya couldn't believe she was really going to help with making one of her favorite cartoon shows become what it was in her time and also get to know the creator himself. She also couldn't believe she'd get to witness the creation of one of her favorite channels, Cartoon Network and be apart of its legacy. It was a dream come true and an adventure Leeya couldn't wait to begin.
