"Yay, I'm so excited!" Said Anette. They were just a few meters from entering the classroom. Yutika was finally getting why people called Anette the talkative one after she had spent ten minutes hearing her babble nonsense. "You must be as exceptional as your brother, right?".
"No," I am way worse than he is.
"Are you into medical stuff?".
"No, I think we are here, Anette," Yutika managed to get herself free from the awkward conversation.
Anette rushed ahead and knocked on the door. "Come in," came a soft voice. Yutika opened the door as a familiar-faced professor sat there. "Are we at the wrong time, professor?" Said Anette.
"Not at all, Sizar. Come in." She had a particular Asian accent.
She was Konishi Kesseki sensei. Short for Madame Kesseki. That had seen her in the chamber of gathering the other day. "I've been expecting you, Yutaka. Have a seat, darlings,". Yutika pulled the chair and sat on it alongside Anette.
"So, do either of you know anything more about medical stuff except the things you learned in school?". Both of them shook their heads in dismay. "Okay, just as expected. Anette, my dear,".
"You have the capabilities and abilities in your power and your chakra. Yutika, you, on the other hand, have the capabilities, too. But you have something more than that. Your instincts. Just like your brother."
My brother again. Here we go.
"You both will excel at this. I'm sure. I've been expecting to see you two here." Anette beamed.
"Now, medical studies is not a piece of cake. Chakra control is the basic component. And strength, of course."
A black-haired figure emerged from inside, from a room connected. "Don't you have another lecture?" Asked the professor to the thin girl. She was probably Cai Liu, whom they had met earlier. "Yes, I was just leaving."
"You are Cai-right?" Asked Anette as she was about to leave. "Yes, a pleasure to meet you,"
"I suppose you have already met my daughter, Cai." Said the professor. "Wait, what," Anette was the first to respond. "Aren't you Chinese, though?".
"Yes." Answered Cai.
"My husband is Chinese, darlings," Yutika silently listened.
"Mother, I need to".
"-Go. I'll see you later." The door shut, and Cai left the chamber. "So where were we?". Yutika and Anette returned back to Madame Kesseki.
"Chakra control.". "Oh yes. One of the most essential skills in medical studies. You both will be trained for it. You will have extra lectures after school every day. The timetable shall be reached by my student representative, Irisina Leaf." The name was similar to Yutika. Irisina was the gorgeous green-eyed brunette she had met on the first day, who had an annoying liking for her brother. And she had made enemies with her since the moment Yutika had met her.
"Be aware our lecture will consist of all students from all years. And if either of you don't manage to cope with the complete work until the semester, you'd be banished. Medical studies are better taken seriously, as a usual subject, or you'll know the consequences, and a few more students will be coming from your batch. Irisina will let you know the details. And don't ya worry girls, It's fun here. Unless, again, if you don't take it seriously, you'll be ejected. Mark my words."
"Yes, Mam," said Yutika a moment later.
"Wonderful. Off you go now.
"Yutika and Anette stood up, greeting the professor one last time before they left.
So far, Kesseki sensei was the only kind teacher they had met. Anette waved hands to Yutika and rode away. As Yutika turned around in the other direction, she bumped into someone.
"Sorry," They said at the same time.
The guy she'd bumped into rushed away in the other direction.
It was the boy she had seen with Nyle's sister. The one....well... That one.
Yutika blushed and rushed to her classroom, unable to get his face out of her eyes.
