The boat seems familiar. The ship appears to be like something I had seen before. I lean on the railing of the ship. I look up and I see someone with dark hair. "We are here," the captain tells me. The boat kept rocking back and forth due to the rain but I saw one of the crew members put that anchor down.
I stepped into the small boat and I was lowered down into the water slowly.
I take the Paddles and force myself to the island.
I was drenched in the rain.

The boat was begging to tilt over into the water. My arms are sore from pushing against the currents.
My boot stepped onto the sand, which was muddy from the dripping raindrops. I walk closer and closer.
I walked into the building till I stood in front of the desk. The white walls made me feel more insane.
"I am here to see Morgana Graves." The bored man looks up at me from his book with a pen in his mouth. "I need to see her now."
"And you would be?" he lifts his eyebrow. I pull down my hood. "Her daughter."

He drops his pen, he looks as if he has seen a dead woman. "You are so much like your mother."
He turns his head to look at the man sitting next to him. "Let her through."
"But sir no one is allowed to see her!"
"Did you not hear me? Let her through."
They guide me to hopefully my mother.
The guy opened the door and I saw her.
She was sitting on the floor with chains on her hands and her hair in her face.

"Mom?" she flinches at my voice.
I walk closer to the bar and drop on my knee. She looks up at me.
I felt tears fall down my face. "Oh, sweetie."
She tilted her head. She places her hand on my cheek.
"Why has this all happened to me?" I hold her hand as if she might break. Tears fall down my face, it is like I don't even know what is right in front of me anymore.
"Why is everything I thought was the truth a lie?"
I looked into her eyes. She didn't seem to pity me but she also seemed to understand. There was this softness in her eyes.

"Mom, Why are you locked in here?"
I asked her. My mother never hurt a fly.
"For the killing of the Grand Duke's of Zodel brother."
The words echo into my head, my mother is a murderer and my father is a liar. I take her hand off my face. In one moment everything changed all over again.

"Don't worry honey, He deserved it."
she hands me a small music box.
"My mother gave this to me as well as her mother."
I put it in my pocket. I stand up.
"I have to go, Mom" I let go of her hand but she grabbed my arm before I could leave.
"Give me a hug before you leave." I nodded and sank into her arms. Little did I know that hug would save my life.

My boot made not even a faint whisper on the ground when I saw two guards walking forward towards me, my first instinct was to hide and put my hood up.
They walk right past me and I see a familiar face in chains. Is that Phoebe? My head lightly peeks out of the shadow and the light frames my hooded face.
What is she doing here? I hear the click of the door of the cell closing. The aggressiveness in their voices was clear but I couldn't quite understand what they were talking about.

They stormed right past me again and walked out the door. My eyes peeked out the corner to see if anyone was there. I spotted a sleeping guard but it should be fine. I walked past the guard to the prison cell that was holding the woman who once took care of me.
She sniffled a sob. She looked up at me with her face red. "What?" She spat at me.
I pulled my hood down. "I should be asking you that question, what is wrong Phoebe?" Her eyes widened in terror. Her mouth stood wide open. "You're...alive?"
"Do I look dead?" I crack a smile, hoping she does the same but she is still shaken. "What are you doing here, in jail? Is my father okay? " I asked. "I don't know, He was staying in a different country but I've been here ever since you well..." I nodded
"You wouldn't have any reliable information then."
She shrugged. "Just keep quiet about ever seeing me unless you want to make trouble for yourself."
I turn my heel. "wait!"
I look back at her. "What happened to you?"
"Don't worry about it, Phoebe," I said, knowing I couldn't tell her without crying. "Oh and don't tell Xavier about this."
We parted from each other and I got into the boat with my hood on.
I look at the sunset, the rain finally cleared up.
I hold the glass necklace that my mother placed on my neck without my knowing. The necklace wasn't important, the red liquid antidote was.
