"Love isn't something you find. Love is something that finds you."

-Loretta Young

I never knew what love felt like, it was a mysterious thing that human beings felt.

I must introduce myself, I am Finn Grey, but I mostly get called Fi. Thanks to my parents I was named Finn Mortensen, my dads favourite composer, he was a man, they named me after a man. The embarrassment of growing up with a male name was horror, but once I got into high school I started to like it more and more, probably because one of my best friends is called Elliott, and she is a girl.

At this moment I am in college with my two best friends, Elliott and Leanne. We have been good friends since the beginning of high school, and have been friends ever since. Elliott has a boyfriend, Bates Dallas, a cute bad-boy who is in the year above us, and Leanne is dating a guy named, Sean Lemon, a handsome guitar player who is in a band. And me, well I don't have anyone, actually I do. My cat, Dusty, a Siamese cat who is the most beautiful person I have every laid eyes one.

I guess I should give a little description of what I look like, but I don't see why not, I'm a normal 20 year old girl who loves to procrastinate. I have dark blonde hair that sits above my shoulders, it curls in at the ends but the rest of my hair is straight. I have eyes that are bluer than the Adriatic Sea with a dark black rim around the iris, and people love to just look at my eyes, I guess you could say they are my best feature. I'm tall, slim build and I love to eat everything that is eatable. I would rather have a big mac from McDonald's than have a plain salad from an expensive restaurant. Maybe that's a reason why I don't get many dates from guys, but the again I would rather spend my nights in bed watching Netflix than go out on a date, all dressed up when I could be wearing shorts and a t-shirt with no bra on, that is what heaven truly feels like.

My friend Elliott would blow you away when you look at her, when I first saw her in high school I couldn't believe an 11 year old could look so stunning and she proved me wrong. Her eyes, god her eyes, they were light green with dark blue speckles spread through the iris and a dark grey rim around the iris too. Her hair was long, it fell just above her breasts and one side was shorter almost shaved, and it was blue, not light light blue, it was a just right blue, dark enough not to draw so much attention to herself. She was tall like myself, she was slim too but was cautious of her weight due to an eating disorder she had when she was younger, and her lip had a stud which sat perfectly with her plump lips and she had both ears pierced. She was shy, like myself, but wasn't afraid to speak her mind about anything, and she made the best cupcakes you could ever eat.

Leanne, oh god Leanne. She was the best, crazy, kind loving girl you could ever want to know. She has gorgeous red hair that curls out just above her breasts and sits perfectly, she doesn't need to use straightners or a curling iron to get her hair to set perfectly. And her eyes, they were big beautiful blue eyes, that has a lighter brown rim around the iris, making the blue colour more dominant, even though she wears glasses, they don't make her look nerdy or geeky, they make her look just right. And not to mention her great taste in bands, she always knew the right music to listen to at the right time or the newest bands on the go, and thanks to her, I'm obsessed with half the band's she introduced me too.

And so my life of having no love continues here.

"Must you do this?" Elliott called, knocking me from my deep thoughts. Elliott, Bates, Leanne and I sat on the field looking out on the river, while having our lunch. I was thinking about my life, well my love life in general. I was missing out on so much, Elliott and Leanne were able to double date, their weekend's were spent with their boyfriends, while I sat at home cooped up in a ball watching Netflix eating a whole tube of Ben and Jerry's.

"Yes, I'm going to be come a nun." I sarcastically said, looking her dead in the eyes. Elliott chuckled and lay her back against Bates, they looked so cute together. Relationship goals.

"I could set you up." Leanne chuckled, throwing a grape at me.

"If I can't get myself a boyfriend, I'm sure you won't be able to find me one." I sighed standing up.

"Plus guys are missing out on this," I said, strutting my stuff. Leanne exploded in laughter causing Elliott and Bates to laugh aswell.

"Come on, it will be fun. I can set you up with a really nice guy" Leanne told, her hair gently moving as the wind gushed past us.

"I guess, but he has to at least have a sense of humor" I sighed, finally sitting back down.

Maybe going on a date with this guy Leanne is setting me up will be a good then, I will be getting out of the house for once.
