Leeson, a teenage boy, sat in the rooms next to his radio. He tuned into his battery-powered radio, drawing in his worn notebook and seemingly unbothered by the mysterious events. The radio's static crackle filled the air as a reporter's voice interrupted with news updates. Leeson continued sketching, detached from the surrounding danger, engulfed in his artistic world.

At night, Leeson, still engrossed in his artwork, was suddenly interrupted as his earphones died. The sudden silence was abruptly broken by a peculiar noise outside his window, like a slight shuffling sound or movement. His instincts momentarily distracted him, pulling him away from his sketchbook.

cuts to the front porch, where Leeson cautiously steps out, armed with a wooden baseball bat. As he investigates the source of the noise, he suddenly jolts back in terror as a figure materializes, suspended from the roof. Leeson instinctively raises the bat, coming dangerously close to striking the person in the face before recognizing the identity as Harry Olsen.

Leeson releases a frustrated sigh, gradually lowering his bat.

Leeson: Harry, what the hell are you doing?!
Harry shoots back a look of equal annoyance, eyeing the bat.
Harry: You weren't answering your phone! Why do you have a bat?
Leeson responds with a hint of annoyance.
Leeson: [annoyed] I thought you were Stiles Stillinski!

Harry releases his grip and drops down from the roof.
Harry: Dude, you've been watching too much TeenWolf,
Leeson responds with a smirk.
Leeson: It's a good show, but seriously why are you here?
Harry explains that he came to check on Leeson before the game the following day.

Leeson responds firmly, setting the bat down.
Leeson: No, I can't play.
Harry continues, insisting.
Harry: Can't or won't? Listen, my dad's gonna be there; you can't embarrass me, man.

The scene switches to the next morning, Leeson is seen sleeping soundly until his phone vibrates, startling him awake. The scene transitions to a school classroom where Leeson and Harry are sitting in their seats, engaged in conversation.

Leeson (Yawning): Seriously man, you're killing me. I haven't slept in like a month because of your damn practices.
Harry (Shrugs): Hey, football is important, bro. You gotta show up on game day.

Leeson (Reluctant): I'll think about it.
Harry continues, emphasizing the importance of representing their hometown.
Harry: Come on, man, we're playing for Blackwood Hills, our hometown.
Leeson considers this, his resolve weakening slightly.

The teacher addresses the class with a serious expression.
Teacher: Good morning, class. As you all know, there was a body found in the woods last night. Police believe it was an animal attack.

The classroom falls silent as the teacher's words sink in. Some students whisper amongst themselves, while others look genuinely frightened. Leeson and Harry exchange glances, a mix of concern and intrigue in their expressions.

Leeson (Whispers to Harry): This is crazy, man. Animal attacks are usually pretty rare in these parts.
Harry (Nods): Yeah, I know. I'm just glad we weren't the ones out in the woods last night.
Leeson (Nervously) Yeah... Me too...

The classroom conversation comes to a halt as a knock on the door interrupts. A young lady, presumably Kelsey, enters the room. The teacher glances up, inquiring about her identity.
Teacher: Name?
Kelsey responds with a smile.
Kelsey: Kelsey.
The teacher acknowledges her.
Teacher: New student, huh? Yeah, you're in the right place. Take a seat.

Kelsey takes a seat behind Leeson, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. Leeson turns around to greet her.
Leeson: Welcome to Blackwood High School.
Kelsey responds with a smile.
Kelsey: Thanks.

The teacher calls out to Leeson, drawing his attention.
Teacher: Woods!
Leeson responds, meeting the teacher's gaze.
Leeson: Sir?
Teacher: Ready for the game tonight?

Leeson gives a smirk and a nod.
Leeson (Confidently): You bet, Coach. I'm ready to give it my all.
The teacher grins in approval.
Teacher: That's what I like to hear. Make your town proud, kid.

The scene shifts to the hallway, where Leeson is engrossed in an article about the discovered body in the woods. Harry approaches, interacting with his locker, and engages in conversation with Leeson.
Harry (Curious) You don't believe in that stuff, do you?
Leeson (Shrugs) Animal attacks? Anything could happen.

Harry (Skeptical): I mean, yeah, animals can be dangerous, but a vicious animal attack in our town? It's not very likely.
Leeson (Nods) Maybe. But who knows? Stranger things have happened.

The scene transitions to the boys' locker room, where they begin suiting up in their gear. The coach enters the room and addresses the team.
Coach (Enthusiastic) Alright, ladies, we've got 10 minutes! Get dressed!
The players start putting on their pads, helmets, and jerseys, the atmosphere charged with pre-game adrenaline.

As Leeson steps onto the field, he is taken aback by the sheer number of attendees. The atmosphere is charged with excitement and tension.
Harry approaches Leeson and offers a reassuring pat on the back.
Harry (Encouraging) You got this, bud.
Leeson glances over and notices Kelsey sitting watching the Game. She softly waves at him, and he nods in acknowledgment, placing his helmet on.

The game begins, and the boys take their positions on the field. Leeson takes his place in the lineup, his heart racing with adrenaline. The opposing team gets the ball and starts their drive. Leeson waits anxiously for his turn, his mind focused. Finally, the ball is snapped, and the opposing team's quarterback passes the ball. Leeson leaps into action, intercepting the pass and making a run for his team's end zone. He dodges several players, narrowly escaping a tackle, and finally, with a final burst of energy, Leeson scores a touchdown.

The game continues, and the home team is playing well. Leeson manages to make some impressive plays but, unfortunately, the opposing team is not far behind. With a few minutes left in the game, the other team scores a touchdown, taking the lead. Despite a final desperate drive, Leeson's team eventually loses the game, the score 21-24. As the players walk off the field, Leeson can't help but feel a sense of disappointment, though he tries to hide it.

The coach approaches an emotionally distraught Leeson, his frustration apparent.
Coach: Goddammit, Woods! You had one job! Just one!
Leeson (Defeated) I'm sorry, Coach.
Coach (Angrily) Sorry ain't gonna cut it, boy. You're off the team.

Leeson glances at Kelsey, who smiles supportively. He manages a smile back, but the weight of the loss and the coach's harsh words quickly overwhelm him. In a fit of frustration and disappointment, he throws down his helmet and dashes off into the woods, his emotions getting the better of him.

Walking though the woods

Leeson is struck with terror as he hears a loud howl reverberating through the woods. Suddenly, a deep growl from behind startles him, causing him to freeze in his tracks. With trepidation, Leeson slowly turns around and finds himself face-to-face with a colossal, beastly wolf possessing fiery, glowing red eyes.

Leeson is taken by complete surprise as the wolf lunges at him. He falls to the ground, desperately attempting to crawl away, but the beast swiftly grabs him by his ankles and jerks him backwards. The wolf then proceeds to sink its powerful jaws into Leeson's right hip.

Leeson (Screams in pain) Ahhh!
