MATILDA STOOD IN THE VIP TENT OF THE ERAS TOUR, watching her mom perform with a sweet smile. Her mother was her everything - her guide, her best friend.
Matilda sung along to Enchanted with Inez Reynolds, hugging and dancing around with the little girl. This was what she loved about the tour, watching people dance around with their friends. And while her own friends didn't come, Matilda still had the family friends.
Another thing she loved was how her mother would always look for her in the crowd, singing to her daughter. Matilda sang back every time, tears springing to her eyes. She just adored her mom.
"Hey Tilly," Travis tapped Matilda's shoulder. "Isn't that your online friend, Sam?"
She looked to where Travis was pointing and a smile appeared on her face. "Yeah, it is."
And so Matilda ran toward where he was, singing along to Enchanted. She watched as Colby noticed her and turned Sam around, the way his face transformed into shock.
She continued to sing, grinning madly. Matilda Swift sang the bridge of Enchanted, and afterwards, gave Sam a big hug. "It's so nice to meet you in person."
Sam was somewhat shaking as he hugged her back. "It's so nice to meet you, too, Tilly."
"I should go," Matilda pulled away and quickly gave Colby a hug. "But I'll try and see you again later."
"Maybe see you later," Sam smiled at her and waved as she ran back to the tent. Then he turned to Colby. "I just met Matilda Swift."
"Calm down, you're alive. And she might come back, so stay alive."
