Revelations and Bonds

The following weeks were anything but normal for Suzune Horikita. Since discovering that Kiyotaka Ayanokouji had three children living with him—Aiko, Saya, and Gojo—Suzune found herself drawn into his personal life in ways she never expected. Despite her initial shock, Suzune found herself slowly becoming closer to the children, particularly Gojo. And though she tried to suppress it, there was a growing sense of admiration, even something deeper, for Kiyotaka himself.

But what was most surprising was how naturally everything seemed to fit. Suzune had never imagined herself being close to children, let alone Kiyotaka's children, yet here she was, spending time with them, learning their quirks, and even beginning to enjoy their company. Aiko's energetic antics, Saya's quiet wisdom, and Gojo's contemplative silence—it all felt strangely comfortable, as if they had become a part of her life.

However, Suzune knew that the calm could not last forever. It was only a matter of time before the rest of Class D learned about Kiyotaka's situation. And when that happened, everything would change.

It all began during lunch break, a couple of weeks after Suzune had first visited Kiyotaka's apartment. She was sitting with her classmates in the cafeteria, silently observing the conversations around her, when she noticed that Kiyotaka was absent. Normally, his absence wouldn't have caught her attention—he often skipped lunch or chose to sit alone—but today felt different.

Suddenly, a voice broke through her thoughts.

"Hey, Horikita, have you heard?" Kushida Kikyou, the ever-cheerful and gossip-loving student, leaned in toward her, a mischievous smile on her face.

Suzune glanced at her, eyebrow raised. "Heard what?"

"There's a rumor going around about Ayanokouji," Kushida said, lowering her voice as if sharing a secret. "Apparently, he has kids."

Suzune's heart skipped a beat, but she kept her face composed. "What makes you say that?" she asked calmly, her mind racing.

"I overheard some students from Class B talking about it," Kushida said, her eyes gleaming with curiosity. "They said that Ayanokouji was seen with three little kids near the apartment building. Isn't that crazy? He doesn't seem like the type to have kids, right?"

Suzune remained silent, her mind swirling with conflicting thoughts. She had known that this day would come, but now that it was here, she wasn't sure how to handle it. If the rumor spread, Kiyotaka's entire life at school could change. And what about the children? How would this affect them?

Before Suzune could respond, the door to the cafeteria opened, and Kiyotaka walked in, as composed and expressionless as ever. But the moment he stepped inside, she noticed the subtle shift in the room. People were whispering, stealing glances at him, their curiosity and speculation growing with each passing second.

Suzune's stomach twisted. She knew that Kiyotaka wouldn't care about the rumors—he was someone who rarely concerned himself with what others thought—but she couldn't help but feel protective. She had spent enough time with the children to understand how vulnerable they were, and the idea of them becoming a subject of gossip made her uneasy.

Kushida was already preparing to approach Kiyotaka, no doubt to dig for more information, but Suzune quickly stood up, cutting her off.

"I'll ask him myself," Suzune said firmly, walking toward Kiyotaka before Kushida could protest.

Kiyotaka met her gaze as she approached, his expression as unreadable as ever. He said nothing, but Suzune could tell from the look in his eyes that he knew what she was about to ask.

"We need to talk," Suzune said quietly, gesturing for him to follow her out of the cafeteria.

Without a word, Kiyotaka followed her, and they walked in silence until they reached a secluded spot outside, away from prying eyes and ears. Suzune turned to face him, her arms crossed.
