THE FAMILY MATTER

PART - 1

Mr. Noah had made up his mind to marry another woman due to what was happening in his family. His wife was a very beautiful woman who had wanted to stay with him forever. The woman loved him so much that she didn't use to hide anything from him.

Although Mr. Noah still loved her. He had told her to leave his family because according to him, the woman could not bear him a male child. Both of them were still young. They had three children, but all of them were girls. The woman had begged him to wait that she would bear him a male child but he told her to leave his house and that he was tired of it.

Mr. Noah was worried because he had done all he could; but in all to no avail. One day, he told the woman that he had something to tell her. He told her to go with her children and that he was no longer interested in the marriage. In addition, he told her that he was going to marry another woman who could give him a male.

The woman was surprised by what he said. She begged him not to leave her for another woman, but Mr. Noah told her to think of when they started life.

The woman told him not to look at when they started it - since they were still young. She told him to wait, that their family matter was nothing before God, and that He could rewrite their story whenever He wished.

Mr. Noah repeated what he had said before that she should leave his house and that he was going to marry another woman who could give him what he wanted. However, his wife, on her part, was a firm believer. She would always pray to God to help her family each time she went to bed.

That is, she believed that something might happen through prayer. She also went to church every day. One day, after they had just closed their usual gathering, she decided to meet her pastor. She told him all that was happening in her family and that she didn't know what to do about it. Her pastor was also a man of prayer.

He asked her whether her husband was a believer, and the woman told him yes, that both of them were believers. He asked her how many children they had then, and she told him immediately. He then told her not to give up in prayer and that her family matter is nothing before God.

They looked at each other at once and the woman immediately returned her gaze. She told the pastor the area that bothered her most. She told him that her husband had concluded that he was going to marry another woman.

The pastor told her never to give up in prayer and that through prayer, God could change the story of her family. In addition, he told her to hold on to God that if it was not His will, her husband would not succeed in breaking up her marriage. He stopped talking and thought for a while and after some time, he continued again.

He asked the woman whether she used to quarrel with her husband and she told him no, that they didn't use to quarrel with each other. He continued with the counseling.

However, in the evening of that day when the woman got home, she told her husband to give her money for food as he'd always given her before.

Mr. Noah told her that he didn't have any money. The woman then decided to prepare the food with her money and when the food was done, her husband refused to eat too. He told her to eat first and that he was not hungry. The woman left the food then.

One day, after some days, Mr. Noah decided to visit his mother. After he had told her the reason for his coming, she told him not to go and marry another woman. She told him to hold on to God because with Him every impossibility could be possible.

When Mr. Noah got home that day, he decided to think about it. He then told himself that he would not leave his wife because of a male child. Instead, he would believe God for a miracle.

One day, he called his wife. He told her to forgive him for every word he had spoken against her, and that he was no longer going to leave her. The woman was happy. She told him that she had heard everything that he said.

They would always pray together each time they went to bed which they had not been doing before. One day, his wife called him. She told him that she had a very important thing to tell him.
