After Sasuke barged into the dark tunnel of Orochimaru's hideout, or where it used to be, Sakura knew she wouldn't have to hold on much longer. She was experiencing painful contractions at the moment, but she had grown to be quite skilled in hiding her emotions when it came to lifting the weight off other's shoulders.

The ravenhead was certain that his former teammates, Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu, were still residing right there. Even though Orochimaru was being watched at all times, they simply stayed at the hideout on their own. Sasuke could feel their familiar Chakras, and he held his trembling wife even closer to him as he ran.

His rushed footsteps were echoing through the tunnels of the hideout, and he was drenched from head to toe. That didn't matter though, because his wife was okay. He kissed her forehead lightly and whispered, "we're almost there." She nodded a bit and leaned her head a bit heavier against his heaving chest, trying to bear the pain of the contractions.

Sasuke was desperately hoping that Karin had gotten over her obsession with him, because he couldn't handle comforting his suffering wife and dealing with her annoying obsession at once. Additionally, the ravenhead prayed that Suigetsu wouldn't be a bother, and he was actually quite positive that Jugo would be a great help.

Finally, after what felt like eternity, Sasuke flew through a closed wooden door back-first, making sure his wife didn't feel the pain at all. He was panting heavily, rain dripping down his shoulders and hair, and his face was glistening with a mixture of it and sweat as well. Sakura's eyes were closed tightly, and she barely even registered that her husband just broke down a door as if it was the most causal thing in the world.

In the room were Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo, who had sensed Sasuke's Chakra from afar already. They wondered what it was that he wanted, especially because they felt another Chakra very close to him too. The fiery redhead didn't feel the need to win Sasuke over any longer. Her sole purpose now was to ensure that he was happy, which was why she was a bit concerned about his sudden arrival.

With their jaws on the floor, Sasuke's former team gawked at him. They had never seen him this distressed and desperate before, and because he was carrying someone, they knew that it was urgent. "Please... help Sakura," he spoke desperately, his voice trembling from the cold and fear as he held Sakura closer.

All that happened afterwards was nothing more than a blur. Jugo gently took his wife from him, although Sasuke never took his eyes off her, and he carried her to a nearby bed. Suigetsu was even silent for once, hastily gathering Karin's medical supplies he knew they would need after seeing the pinkette's belly. Karin was putting on a pair of gloves while questioning Sasuke about their situation intently.

"Our baby... it's coming, Karin. Please help us, I'm begging you," he explained desperately, wiping his face on a towel Suigetsu had thrown at him. "I can't watch my wife be in pain any longer," he trailed off, his voice a mere sad whisper as he watched his wife struggle with sorrowful eyes.

While Karin nodded in understanding, now fully comprehending how important this woman was to Sasuke. Thus, she would do her best to make this as painless and quick as possible. She lifted Sakura's legs and hastily made all the preparations to check on her body, needing to see the progress and state of her contractions.

As the redhead noted down various numbers and words, Sasuke sat beside Sakura. He held her hand tightly, his head resting on the pillow beside hers with his nose pressed into her cheek. "You'll be okay," he whispered softly, "I know you'll be... You're doing so well, Sakura."

She felt a huge weight being lifted off her shoulders at his reassurance, instinctively squeezing his hand tightly. Jugo was carefully wiping the sweat off her forehead while Suigetsu handed Karin the medical supplies he had prepared, and he seemed really concentrated.
