We quickly thanked and went past the few superstars that were in the Gorilla congratulating us. Both Damian and I had to go back to our Locker rooms to get our phones, so we had to part ways for the first time today, but thankfully they were next to each other.
Luckily Liv wasn't in the locker room; if she was, I would've beat the shit out of her again without hesitation, but I reckon that she had definitely left the building out of embarrassment with the rest of the new "Judgment Day"
Damian had texted that he wanted to meet in catering, where most of the superstars actually hang out if they didn't have a match or were waiting for it. We only had gone there a few times before we had gotten our locker room, the clubhouse, so it would be a bit different now.
Since he had only brought his bag with him, it was easier for him to find his phone, so he was already on his way there, but while doing so, he told me that he had encountered Jey on his way there; he wanted to give me a heads up, I guess.
I quickly zipped up my suitcase and tossed it back into my assigned locker. I then walked out of the Women's Locker room with my head down, looking at my phone, trying not to make it obvious if I saw Jey.
And of course, I did.
"Hey Rhea," he said in front of me.
I looked up from my phone and put it in my back pocket, "Hey, how are you doing?" I asked.
"I'm doing good, y'know. But how are you doing? You took some hard hits tonight," he asked, a hint of worry in his tone.
"I'm good; I've taken tougher hits before, this was nothing," I said swiftly.
I saw the corners of his mouth slightly move upwards at my confidence, "Good, good. But I mean, how are you after fighting Dominik? I know that was tough for you." He asked more seriously.
I hesitated for a second; I didn't expect him to say something like that. "I'm good," I stated, "I've gone through this multiple times; I know how to handle myself."
He still looked a bit worried. I know he's gone through something like this before, so he knows the pain that comes with it. "I'll see you Monday, right?" He asked.
"Yep," I smile at him before we walk past each other.
Once I finally got to catering, Damian was right by my side. He didn't want to leave me, and I didn't want to leave him; we were always stuck with each other, and we didn't mind it. I know I can always trust him; we've been through so much together.
"Rheaaa," I heard someone yell excitedly behind me.
I turned around and saw Bianca Belair quickly walking up to me. Damian's hold tightened around me; he knew my relationship with all of the wrestlers around here; he knew mine with Belair wasn't too good.
"Hey, I'm so proud of you!!! You definitely showed them, girl," she said with a smile and cheery attitude.
"Thanks," I said, surprised at her nice words.
"I know this praise is different for you," she said before turning to Damian. "For the both of you in fact," she paused. "But you guys deserve it; y'all worked your asses off," she said before turning away with her smile, carrying her upbeat attitude along with her.
"I didn't expect that," Damian said, breaking the silence.
I looked at him for a second and started giggling. Her attitude definitely made me feel much better; it actually made me realize how much I needed all of this nice attention.
