The Wedding of the Century: A Naxie Story (3/3)

Untitled Part 34

It was almost New Year's Eve and Maxie was still in the hospital as Nathan was with the kids.

Nathan told her "We have a little over 24 hours until we are supposed to kiss tomorrow.  I can't wait."

Maxie "I can't either.  I need to get out of here and go home.  I need to be okay."

Nathan "I know everything will work out.  It always does.  I love you!"

Maxie "I love you too!  It has to work out."

A few hours went by with Maxie still in the hospital when at around 3 am on New Year's Eve Dr Curtis said "You are able to leave now.  Just be calm and take it easy.  I know you're wedding is tonight so take it easy until then."

Maxie "I will!"

Nathan "I'll make sure of it."

They went home and got some sleep.

About seven hours later Maxie woke up to find that Nathan had been off with Dante and Lulu was at the apartment.

Lulu was watching over Maxie like a hawk not knowing Britt was there hiding.

Maxie helped her girls first then after feeding them bathing them and changing them to play (with help from Lulu) she took a ten minute nap.

Lulu nudged her shoulder when it was time to get ready.

Lulu and Maxie headed with the kids to the haunted star and got ready.

Maxie got her hair done beautifully and her make up and nails.

Lulu helped her get the girls dressed for the wedding and little Georgie.

Maxie looked at her girls smiling "They are so adorable.  They look so cute."

Lulu "They do!  Now it's time for the bride to get her dress on ."

Lulu helped Maxie get her gorgeous gown on and zip it up and make sure it was perfect.

Maxie looked in a mirror and said "I'm missing something.  Where are my earrings?"

Lulu took the box from Maxie's bag "Right here."

She helped Maxie put them in her ears and Lulu said "Wow you look amazing."

Felicia walked in the room and said "I'm so happy for you sweetheart.  You look so beautiful.  Nathan will be stunned.  The girls look so cute in their dresses.  I hope it's alright I bring Bella and Angel to their daddy."

Maxie "That's okay mom.  Thank you.  I love you!"

Felicia "I love you too sweetheart."

Felicia brought the twins to Nathan and he saw their cute dresses and hair smiling "Daddy loves you two little princesses.  My cute little Bella and my sweet little Angel."

Dante looked at the girls thinking he still wanted another baby with Lulu but knew that was not an easy thing to achieve.

Nathan got in place to marry the love of his life Mariah Maximiliana Jones when someone came running into the place announcing "Sorry to crash the party but I wanted to be here for my friend."

Nathan looked up and saw someone "Isaiah?  What are you doing here?  When did you get to town?"

Isaiah "I just got here a few hours ago.  I wanted to see you get married.  Maxie told me about the wedding but I didn't think I'd be free so I wasn't really invited or on your guest list."

Nathan "It's fine.  You're my friend you saved my life a few times.  You crashing my wedding is not a bad thing."

Isaiah "Good!  So are you ready?"

Nathan "I'm excited and very ready."

Isaiah "Those twins of yours are getting big and they look super cute."

Nathan "Thanks man."

Dante "Hey Isaiah."

At the beginning of the ceremony as Maxie was walked to Nathan by Mac another guest arrived to crash the party.

Frisco spoke up "Mac can I please walk my daughter down the aisle?"

Maxie "I'm okay with it.  He's done a lot to help me in the last year and a half."

Mac "Alright.  Only if you're okay with it."

Maxie "Yes.  I'm very okay with it."

Frisco took Maxie's hand and walked her to Nathan giving him her hand.

Just as Lucy said "Dearly beloved we are gathered here to witness the bonds of holy matrimony.  Marriage is not a commitment to be entered into lightly" a man walks in saying "Hey detective west!"
