AS COLBY LED A GOBSMACKED SAM TOWARD THE VIP TENT, he was able to spot Matilda facing the stage and singing along to Gracie Abrams. The blonde girl looked at peace in the area.
"Come on you slowpoke," Colby hissed. "Go say hi to her."
They stepped into the tent, feeling awkward around the celebrities, when Matilda turned at their footsteps. Or eyes widened and face lit up. "Sam! Colby!"
She ran over so say hello, throwing her arms around them each in a hug. "What are you doing here?"
"Courtesy of your mom," Colby chuckled.
"She's so sneaky," Matilda giggled. "But I love her."
The clock countdown started as the trio continued to share stories and talk. Sam learned so much about her in that moment, and she learned a lot about them, too.
Eventually, the show began. Matilda snatched a moment to introduce Sam and Colby to her grandparents, and Andrea embraced them both, giving them compliments.
At one point, the trio gathered at the front of the tent and traded bracelets with Swifties. They watched the 22 hat and Matilda squealed in how adorable it was, but most importantly, Sam filmed her singing along to her mom.
Why was it the most important?
Because she was, of course.
