Mini Stories #2 Ft. Orbot and Cubot (and a Relationship Story!)

Mini Story 1: Welcome Back, You Two.

SCHALE Building: Underground workbench

Eggman-Sensei can be seen working at something in his underground workbench, once again. This time, he's bringing back his two flunkies, Orbot and Cubot.

*tweak tweak*
Eggman-Sensei: "You know, I used to create these two just to help me kill time. And here I am, bringing them back because of boredom. Now that I think about it, maybe they'd have more of a purpose here. And hopefully not be annoyances that keep messing things up. *sigh* Perhaps I was a bit too harsh on these two, these two were my two most loyal assistances. I still don't get how they haven't abandoned me even after all I've done to them, but I guess I'm thankful for that."
*beep boop*
Systems online...
Orbot: "Ah! Where am I? Did I fall asleep after that portal took us?"
Cubot: "Woah! That was one weird dream..."
Orbot: "*looks around* Ah! Boss! It's so nice to see you again!"
Cubot: "Oh hey, boss! Long time no see!"
(Looking unamused, Eggman-Sensei says..)
Eggman-Sensei: "*sigh* (Just take it easy...) Hey there, you two..."
(Then he takes both up to his office.)
Orbot: "This is a fancy office. So, what happened after we got sucked to that wormhole?"
Eggman-Sensei: "After we got through that wormhole, we were sent here. You two were deactivated, for whatever reason, and I had to fix you. Also, I've become a teacher. This is your new home now, welcome to Kivotos."
Cubot: "Wow! This building is so tall!"
Orbot: "Hooray! You did become a teacher! So, how's life here, boss?"
Eggman-Sensei: "So here's the thing... This place isn't like our world. This city, Kivotos is an academy city. So the people running it are students. And the majority of citizens here are students, naturally. However, the students here are all girls. And they all have firearms."
Cubot: "Firearms?! Like guns?"
Eggman-Sensei: "Yes, Cubot. Anyways, they all have guns but they are very durable to bullets, not fully bulletproof however. They all have these halos on their heads. It indicates if they're concious or not. These halos are also the reason why they're bulletproof. I've noticed that they don't know what their halos look like, and treats them as something as natural as breathing. "
Orbot: "Hmm... Interesting."
Eggman-Sensei: "And as you can guess, I'm their teacher. They call me Sensei here. Or Eggman-Sensei. And you two will help assist me in my daily work."
Cubot: "Aww man... Can't we just have a day off?"
Orbot: "But we're lazy bots..."
Eggman-Sensei: "Well, I guess you'd be my assistants. I should've expected that response from you two. I'd also like to say... *sigh* Sorry for... mistreating both of you often, and threatening to scrap both of you. I've realized that you two are valuable to me. So I'd like to apologize."
Orbot: "Aww... Really boss? Thank you! You know, we missed this side of you. I hope it stays this way."
Cubot: "Thanks, boss! I guess you learnt a lot of moral lessons here, huh?"
Eggman-Sensei: "*smirks* Heh, shut up."
(Metallic footsteps can be heard coming towards their way.)
*step* *step* *step*
Metal Sonic: "...!"
Eggman-Sensei: "Ah, Metal Sonic!"
(Orbot and Cubot then hugs Metal Sonic's arms.)
Orbot: "*gasp* Aniki! It's been so long since we've seen you! I didn't expect you to join us."
Cubot: "We miss you, aniki!"
Eggman-Sensei: "Now, now, you two, get off his arms before he throws you off."
Orbot: "Hehehe, sorry..."
Eggman-Sensei: "Oh right! I haven't introduced you two to a new member of our family! Meet, Arona! She is your second younger sister besides Sage, heheh! She lives in this tablet, called the Shittim Chest!"
Arona: "Zzz..."
Eggman-Sensei: "Psst, Arona. Wake up."
Arona: "Ahh! My strawberry shortcakes! What is it Sensei?"
Eggman-Sensei: "You have two new brothers, Orbot and Cubot!"
Arona: "Ah, hello! I didn't expect to see more newcomers!"
Orbot: "Aww, she's so adorable!"
Cubot: "Maybe you should bring her to the real world, boss!"
Eggman-Sensei: "Maybe one day. Arona, please introduce yourself."
Arona: "R-Right! I am Arona, the AI who serves the Shittim Chest! It's the tablet Sensei is holding right now!"
Orbot: "Hello, Arona! Nice to meet you. Hey boss, did you create this tablet?"
Eggman-Sensei: "No, they gave it to me for some reason."
Cubot: "You must be special here then, boss! Or should we call you... Sensei?"
Eggman-Sensei: "Don't. Anyways--this city has a lot of secrets. I hope to learn more about this city. Each student here are all so interesting with their own unique personalities. So, let's just say I like my new job as a teacher. Even your aniki here has made a few friends, so I'm hoping you two would be able to as well. It's also worth mentioning that besides students that live here, there are also anthropomorphic animals and robots here running around as civilians. It's like home, in a way."
Cubot: "Wow! Can't wait to meet new people! I can finally relate with fellow robots that aren't Badniks!"
Eggman-Sensei: "And as I said previously, you two will be helping me here like at home. But because you are lazy bots, you'll take care of other things, and I'll call you when I need help. Also, I'd like you to keep a clear name for this organization we work on, SCHALE. So, don't do anything stupid! I'll let you two roam around this city with Metal sometimes, after you finish your chores."
Orbot: "Sounds good, boss!"
Cubot: "You know, I never thought boss would be this nice to us! Is this a dream?"
Metal Sonic: "ORBOT. CUBOT."
Orbot: "Eek! Since when were you able to speak, Aniki?!"
Cubot: "You scared us there!"
Metal Sonic: "WELCOME_BACK."
(Metal Sonic says, trying to make a happy expression.)
Orbot: "Aww! You're too nice, aniki..."
Cubot: "Let's take a photo together!"
Eggman-Sensei: "W-Wait! Did you bring that camera from-"
*click*
Cubot: "We make such a good family! Woo!"
Eggman-Sensei: "*sigh* You bolt brains..."
(Then they all took a photo together.)
