Kakkar's

Radhika sat on the sofa in her living room, still a bit weak from her recent discharge from the hospital. The soft evening light filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow across the room. She was resting, flipping through a book, when she heard the door creak open. Her father, Harsh, stepped in, his usual calm demeanor softened with concern for his daughter.

"Radhika, beta, kaisi ho ab?" Harsh asked gently, walking over and sitting down next to her. He placed his hand on her shoulder, his eyes scanning her face for any signs of discomfort.

Radhika smiled, feeling the warmth of her father's presence. "Main theek hoon, papa. Bas thoda thak gayi hoon. Hospital se nikalne ke baad ghar aana accha lag raha hai."

Harsh sighed with relief but couldn't hide the lingering worry in his eyes. "Tu hamesha apne upar zyada zor deti hai. Clinic mein itna kaam, aur phir apna health ka dhyan nahi rakhti." He shook his head slightly, though his tone was light-hearted, more affectionate than reprimanding.

Radhika chuckled softly, leaning her head against his shoulder. "Papa, aapko toh pata hai, kaam karna mujhe kitna pasand hai. Main zyada rest nahi kar paati," she said, her voice playful.

Harsh smiled, wrapping his arm around her. "Haan, yeh toh main jaanta hoon. Lekin beta, tu meri sabse badi zimmedaari hai. Tera khayal rakhna zaroori hai." His voice softened even more as he spoke, filled with fatherly affection.

Radhika looked up at him, her eyes twinkling. "Aap hamesha itna sweet kyun hote ho, papa?" she teased, though her heart swelled with love for him.

Harsh chuckled, pulling her closer in a side hug. "Agar main sweet nahi hunga toh kaun hoga? Mera kaam hai tujhse pyar karna aur tera dhyan rakhna." He kissed the top of her head, a small gesture that had always made Radhika feel safe and loved.

They sat together for a few moments in comfortable silence, the bond between them evident in the way they didn't need words to communicate. Harsh glanced at the book in her hand and smiled. "Tu toh abhi bhi apni kitaabon mein khoi rehti hai."

Radhika grinned, holding the book up. "Yeh toh mera favorite hai, papa. Aapko pata hai, kitna accha lagta hai jab main yeh padh rahi hoti hoon."

Harsh laughed softly. "Achha hai, par thoda aaram bhi kar liya kar. Kitaben baad mein bhi padhi ja sakti hain."

Radhika nodded, resting her head on his shoulder again, feeling a deep sense of comfort. "Main theek hoon, papa. Aap ho na mere saath, sab kuch perfect hai."

Harsh looked down at her, his heart full. "Tu humesha meri chhoti si beti rahegi, Radhika. Bas khush reh, aur apna khayal rakh."

Their bond was strong, filled with unspoken love and affection, and in that moment, Radhika felt nothing but gratitude for having a father like Harsh by her side.
