Couple months back

"Hey babe" your boyfriend said walking into the kitchen after a long day of training. His orangish  hair covered his forehead from the sweat "hi baby, go take a shower" he walked into the bedroom and grabbed clothes to shower up. You heard the water running and waisted no time. Rushing onto the balcony you blew all the ashes from the paper into the winds. You quickly grabbed the paper and threw it as far as you can with the evidence of a blunt. You're probably wondering why are you hiding a blunt? Well Rensuke didn't like smoking, he hated it matter of fact he wanted to keep his body and lungs as healthy as possible especially for soccer. He needed every little thing he could get.

If he ever found out that you had been smoking you couldn't tell how he would react at all actually you kind of had an idea of what would happen. Tons of arguments , no sex , searching for health facts, and more. You dreaded all of that happening so it was best to keep it how it is. Why are you smoking? You ask yourself well your smoking because you have been stressing about college and work. You work a job to maintain the apartment and not be in a dorm room with someone random. You would rather live with someone you love plus they pay some of the rent atleast.

You and Kunigami  split most of the important stuff of living together. You payed most of the bills and groceries,Kunigami  cleans up the house and helps you out with school work. Work was the real reason you were smoking thought it was the worst part of the day. Mostly busy everyday is tiring and sometimes you just want to escape your world. Waking up at 9:30 and get off of class at 2 o clock just to come home and at 3:30 you clock into work. You then most of the time get off at 10 o'clock why say most of the time? Well you do overtime to buy little extra stuff for the house and yourself.

You had today off and you were gracious of this, so you spend more time with Kunigami. You went back in and walked to the bedroom. Laying on the bed you grab your phone to scroll on social media. You heard a door open it sure wasn't the front door. It was the bathroom door you saw Kunigami walk out with grey sweatpants and a baggy shirt. His hair was wet causing it to be more of a brownish color you heard him inhale the fresh air the cold air refreshed his lungs. He walked slowly to the bed and fell down onto it. "I almost passed out in there" you chuckle hearing those words but also relating to it because it happened many times before.

"Can you get me some ice water?" he politely asks you nod and get up to get the water. Step by step you get closer to the kitchen you see a clean glass and grabbed it. You filled it up with ice from the fridge and then pressed the water button. You heard ringing from your room it sounded like some is calling your phone. You heard the ringtone repeat "manager/boss" you sighed knowing what this indeed meant. "Can I answer it" you heard a yell say. You scream back yes while walking back to the room to hear what your boss is going to say. You kind of figured what he was going to say but you didn't want to think negative.

"Hello who is this can I speak to y/n?" A deep voice says. "Yea she is right here" your boyfriend hands you the phone and you say hello to your boss. "Can you please come into work today you will get paid like a regular day" you were hesitant not really wanting to go into work today. "Uhm" you dramatically drag on. "Please today is a football game day" he responds sounding very desperate. You knew how the game days went everybody suddenly watches football especially for the top teams playing against each other. The staff at your job was short a lot since it's a new place. You sigh giving in "okay im coming in"

You hang up the phone irritated and go look for your work clothes. You stomped your way to your closet and picked out clothes.

At work

You open up the door and quickly walk to the back and clock in. Finally walking behind the counter and looking around for what to do, you noticed a new staff member he was at the door greeting and occasionally lead them to the tables. He was tan with blonde hair and pink streaks at the end of his hair he had on the male uniform which is a work shirt with an apron on with our logo. You saw the lady's occasionally look back at him after greeting him at that moment you needed to speak with him and no getting around it. A group of guys walked in and walked straight to the bar part the game had just now started and they placed bets right in front of you. Most of them order beer which was in your opinion nasty you never liked it. "Another beer please" they ordered around continuously.

It was time for you to go on break and you made sure someone came to take your place. You walked to the back and grabbed your lunch out of the refrigerator you looked around for it and noticed it was gone. Now you put little sticky notes on the box of it so you know something wasn't right. The note always said "Kunigami's wife" because Kunigami made your lunches for work. You look around the room hoping to see someone with your lunch and catch them you saw the new guy walk back from the break room and go back to the entrance. You noticed a familiar looking box sitting where he left it by accident. You were now pissed the fuck off and was ultimately mad at him. Not only was this your day off but now your lunch was aten and the guys outside are starting to get drunk and more annoying.

Out of anger you storm out of the break room and walk up to him you tap him on his shoulder harshly but not too harsh but enough to let him know you're mad. He turns around and says "how can I help you?"  Bitch? He treated you like a customer like you didn't work here clearly you have the uniform so maybe he was just being petty. "You can help me by buying my lunch because you ate it" you reply to. "Oh that was yours so your Kunigamis wife right? Well I was hungry and yours seemed the best out of all of them"  there's no way he stole your lunch and not care at all, he seemed to just brush it off. He reaches in his pocket and pull out his wallet. He grabs 20 dollars "this should be enough my last 20"

You grab it out of his hand and walk away but before you fully walk away you turn around and look at his name tag. "Shidou Ryusei hm interesting" 

You quickly grab your keys and drove to the nearest Wendy's. You ordered your usual from Wendy's and quickly ate it be for you had to drive back. You had change left from the meal so you stuffed it in your pocket and let it be. Taking a big bite out of your burger you say "this was so worth it" smacking down on your food. Kunigami called you and asked where you were at. You responded with what happened and he sounded very sad over the phone. He missed you really badly and wanted to spend time with you today. Missing him also very deeply you drove back to the workplace and did the last little tasks to do. You left the small tasks for tommorow and was packing up to leave. You wanted to speak to Shidou before you left so you walked over to where he was at. "Can you do me a favor and do my job for the rest of the night I got to go" he quickly nodded and walked over to your work place.

"Where ya going?" He asks.

"Home"

What will happen with you and Shidou. Why is Kunigami sadder than usual? All these questions will be answered next chapter!!
