Room 201

Today was my first day at university. I was nervous as hell because my childhood friend Eric wasn't with me anymore—he was going to a different university—so I didn't know anyone. I entered the university residence looking forward to seeing my room, the one I'd be sharing with two other boys. I walked into the big residence hall, and after some time, I finally found my room: number 201. I heard some noise inside, which meant I'd be meeting my new roommates soon. I opened the door with my suitcase in hand, and the scene I saw is something I'll never forget.

Two boys were fighting. One was wearing only boxers, while the other was trying to take a shirt from his hands.

"That shirt is mine! You're not allowed to take it!" one of them said. He was wearing glasses and looked really cute.

"But I don't have any clothes! Come on!" the other one said. He was slightly taller than the first.

When I stepped into the room, both of them looked at me.

"I told you! Our new roommate was coming, and you're not even dressed yet! Sunwoo, go to the bathroom right now!" the boy in glasses scolded.

"Fineee," Sunwoo muttered as he grabbed some clothes from the floor and headed to the bathroom.

"Sorry... Ugh, my name is Chang Min, but people usually call me Q," he said as we shook hands.

"My name's Carlos. Nice to meet you," I smiled.

"The other guy is called Sunwoo. He's a first-year student, just like you. Sorry about him, he's just like a baby," Q sighed.

"Don't worry," I said, smiling awkwardly.

A few minutes later, Sunwoo came out of the bathroom.

"What do we have here? Our new roommate!" Sunwoo said, placing a friendly hand on my shoulder.

"Nice to meet you too," I smiled again.

"Well, boys, I gotta go," Q said while putting on some perfume.

"Ooh, who are you going out with? Is it that girl?" Sunwoo teased.

Q blushed. "What do you mean?" he stammered.

"We all know about that girl, Ali was it? We know you're in love with her, c'mon man," Sunwoo teased him further.

"None of your business!" Q snapped before leaving the room angrily.

Boom. And off he goes again. Q is like that—he's bossy. Never mind, I'm going to a party, so you've got the whole room to yourself. Bye-bye, new roommate!" Sunwoo kissed my cheek and left.

These boys were weird. Let's see if I survive this. After they left, I video-called Eric because I missed him. I placed my phone on the table while I unpacked my things. This year is going to be chaotic.
