it would be a lie to say lynn didnt stay up way longer than shed like to just to think out what she could possibly say to nessa. major part of it was actually just staring at the ceiling empty minded, the only sound she heard being lucys steady breathing from the other side of the room.

the sound of her alarm rang way too soon and burned her ears the next morning. she pretty much dragged her feet behind her through the hall on her way to the bathroom.

she met her own eyes in the mirror, not looking away for a good 20 seconds. the bags resting under them giving away the fact that she hadnt slept for as long as she probably should. the hours of sleep she lost did feel like a loss because the one and only idea she got was also a very stupid one. maybe not necessarily stupid, but she hated the thought of it.

another thing she hated the thought of right then was her morning run. since it had started getting colder it was always you either freeze or youre sweating. nothing in between.

if it wasnt for the fact that it was 6 in the morning, she wouldve slammed the door shut behind her when she exited it, but she didnt cause she knew there would be 12 different people yelling at her when she came back and that was not something she was in the mood for.

lynns 'masterplan' was to put a note in nessas locker telling her to meet her by the playground benches she knew she passed on her way home after school. it was just as sad as it sounded, but that way she wouldnt have to face both her and charlotte. some may say she could just ask lincoln and even tho he claimed to be 'the man with the plan' she trusted herself more with this than him. his plans always backfired in one way or another anyway.

all of first period she spent trying to find out what class nessa possibly could have throughout the day when they werent in the same one. she came to realize it was only one class they didnt have together so she didnt have any other choice than to do it then.

the piece of paper she had ripped out of her notebook layed in front of her, but she just stared blankly at it. the clock showed it was only 10 minutes left so she quickly raised her hand. the teacher immediately looked her direction, picking her as she never spoke in class. "ms loud?" he spoke, but the hopeful look was killed fast when he heard her question.

"can i go to the bathroom?" her face stayed straight and a few people laughing was heard behind her. "cant it wait?" his hand dropped down to his side, clearly disappointed that was what she said. "no" she replied simply, completely ignoring his annoyed look. the teacher sighed and rolled his eyes, giving a nod.

lynn speed walked towards the locker she had waited by multiple times before, the note still in her hand. she would be lying if she said her heart wasnt beating like it was going to jump out of her chest any moment. her eyes searched the area once more before starting to enter the numbers and unlocking it, knowing if her own friends or nessas saw, she wouldnt have any lie to save her.

everything was still placed almost exactly the way it was the last time she saw it, but that wasnt why she was there. she quickly put the note down on the jacket that was the first thing she saw, meaning nessa would hopefully notice it fast aswell.

nessa and charlotte walked back after science a few minutes later and they both went to put away their books. "what do we have here" charlotte said, bending down to pick up the small piece of paper that flew out of nessas locker when she swung it open. she watched with confused eyes as a grin eventually plastered on charlottes face. "looks like you have a secret admirer!" she squealed, jumping up and down.

nessa snapped it out of her hands and read what the note said, her stomach dropping instantly.
