The next morning Zac was up before Fatima! He kept thinking about what she said but what really got him was how she said it!
In this moment, he realized that him and Fatima were not much different! He treated women the way he did because of everything his mom did to him! He never allowed himself to take it there with Fatima because he knew she was different from the other women who wanted him and he was right! Her past slightly aligned with his and he was eager to know more about her, whenever she was willing to open up!
Zac went for a walk around the neighborhood! He was starting to miss his brother and sister but he promised them that they could spend the week with one of their friends and he wasn't about to break that promise now! When he made it back to the house Fatima was in the kitchen cooking breakfast!
Zac, "Good Morning!"
Fatima, "Good Morning! How did you sleep?"
Zac, "Not that good but I'm fine! Wbu?"
Fatima, "The same but I'm just ready to get this training day over with so I can go back to bed!"
Zac, "Oh you're tired of me already?"
Fatima chuckled, "You have NO idea but honestly I just get in a mood to where I want my space!"
Zac, "I understand that! I'm like that all the time!"
Fatima, "That's hard to believe! You're in the eye of the world all the time! It's not easy to be alone when you're a STAR!"
Zac, "Well lately I haven't felt like much of a star!"
Fatima walked up to Zac, "You won't be feeling like that for much longer because you'll be healed in no time!"
Zac, "How can you be so sure?"
Fatima, "Well you're not using crutches! I know you've been using your leg a lot more than you were when you got injured! Plus conditioning helps those muscles! You've been healing without know it which I knew you would!"
Zac, "Wym you knew I would?"
Fatima, "I pushed you so hard on the first day so you would start using your muscles instead of safeguarding them! You're scared of your knee failing you!"
Zac, "What if it does?"
Fatima, "It won't Zac! Give yourself credit! You have a talent and it's important that you utilize it and not allow it to drift away! Now let's eat so we can go for a run!"
Zac smiled and stood up to fix their plates! Once they finished eating Fatima allowed his food to settle for an hour and a half and then they went for their run! Zac was running slow asf at first but when Fatima passed him, he sped up! He didn't know if it was because he didn't want her to beat him or because he actually believed the life Fatima had spoke back into him! They ran two miles and then walked back towards the house! They passed a hotdog stand and Zac stopped!
Zac, "Do you want something?"
Fatima, "Yes! I want a slaw dog with sweet relish!"
Zac, "Word? That's the only way I'll eat mine!"
Fatima chuckled, "It's the best way to eat them!"
