Eggy and Lolita's marriage continues to this day. Both of them still have to make efforts to keep going and remain committed to each other.
Lolita is learning to be more patient; she faithfully prays for her husband because she knows that, apart from herself and Eggy's mother, who else will pray for him with such devotion?
Eggy is also learning to understand Lolita's emotions. He tries to keep his wife happy by choosing positive words instead of using harsh ones that hurt her feelings.
Their daughter, Olivia, decided to live and work in Australia to keep some distance from her parents. Meanwhile, Oliver is growing up to be a good child, nurtured by the genuine love of both parents, who have started to change.
Lolita advises Olivia not to close herself off to men and to keep looking for a life partner who shares mutual love and commitment to building a home filled with prayer and positive energy. Olivia is still uninterested in forming any relationship and is afraid of ending up with a husband like her father if she marries. However, Lolita is slowly changing Olivia's perspective. There are many things to consider before starting a relationship, such as counselling to assess compatibility, psychological tests to identify any emotional issues in a potential partner and consulting a local pastor to clear out any 'trash' from the past and resolve it before moving into a more serious stage.
There's no need to rush into marriage, because it can feel long and exhausting if past issues aren't resolved first. But take the necessary time to deal with those issues and enter married life as a renewed person.
With Love and Joy,
Ohana Joy
