I could barely contain my excitement as I stepped into the forest. It was a beautiful night, with the moonlight streaming through the dense trees.

I started walking, keeping my eyes peeled for any sign of the missing child.

Every sound caught my attention, from the rustling of leaves to the distant howling of the wolves.

I walked for a long time, but there was no sign of the child anywhere.

I was standing still, listening for any sound of the lost child, when I suddenly heard a rustling in the bushes behind me.

Before I could react, a huge wolf appeared out of nowhere and lunged at me. I was caught off guard and fell to the ground, the wolf's sharp teeth bared in a savage snarl.

Thinking quickly, I reached into my pocket and grasped the handle of my dagger.

I was still pinned to the ground, the wolf towering over me with its slavering jaws.

I quickly unsheathed the dagger and swung it up at the wolf's underbelly, hoping to catch it off guard. The wolf howled in pain and stepped back, giving me an opportunity to scramble to my feet.

Just as I thought I was free... The destiny took its advantage on me. And the thing that would be the last thing I'd want to happen, happened.

A pack of wolves appeared from the far bushes, as I stood up from my place, my dagger still in my hands. I'm doomed toda- I mean tonight.

My heart sank as I saw the pack of wolves surrounding me, their hungry eyes glinting in the moonlight. I was surrounded, outnumbered, and the odds were definitely not in my favor.

I gripped my dagger tightly, trying to steady my nerves. There was no way out of this. I could try to fight them, but with so many wolves closing in, the chances of me coming out unscathed were slim to none.

Just then, as the wolves closed in even closer, a sudden gust of wind blew through the forest. I felt a strange chill run down my spine, an unexplainable feeling of being watched.

Just as suddenly as the wind arose, a faint whistle echoed through the forest, causing the wolves to startle and begin running in a specific direction.

Blinking in confusion, I turned to see a figure standing in the shadows of the trees, a good distance away from me. Who is that?..

I squinted, trying to make out the features of the figure, but they were hidden by the darkness. All I could see was a silhouette, tall and slender, standing motionless.
