Whatever Happened to Leafy?

"Hello, Leafy!"

Leafy's eyes suddenly flew open. "What? W-where am I?!" she called out. She looked around and saw that she was sitting in a chair in a room. The floor was yellow and shiny, and Leafy could see a body of water as well.

"I have been watching you for a while," the voice from before stated and that's when Leafy looked up and saw who was sitting in front of her. It was a number not unlike Four and Two, only this time, a one.

"You have?" Leafy asked hesitantly.

"Oh, for sure, I've seen all your adventures!" One stated cheerfully. "Both the good and the bad ones!"

"But why did you bring me here? Last thing I remember was t-there was a s-storm and I was hiding with Firey in a shelter we created. Wait, where is he? Where is Firey?"

"Oh I assure you, he is perfectly safe...for now," One stated as a viewscreen popped up. An image of Firey with his eyes closed, huddling in fear. "And if you want him to stay that way, well I think we can work something out together!"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, it seems that I might need your skills in the near future,"

"What skills?" Leafy asked.

"Oh come on, you know what I'm talking about," One stated with a bit of annoyance in her voice. "You made the top 2 in BFDI and the top 4 in BFB. Clearly you are a skilled individual!"

"I-I mean, yeah I guess,"

"And maybe I can throw in something extra as well,"

"And what would that be?"

"Well, clearly you aren't the most popular with the others," One stated matter-of-factly. The viewscreen flickered between images as one spoke. "You soured your own friendships," Leafy is shown arguing with Bubble. "You got hit with a hammer, and your friend pretended to forget you," Leafy is shown being hit with a hammer by Gelatin. "You even failed to lead your own team properly," Leafy is shown bossing her former team, BEEP around. "And let's not forget your new team talked behind your back," Firey, Eggy, and Needle are shown talking about Leafy and the Have Cots are shown partying when she was not around. "I can make all that go away. If you agree to my deal,".

"So, you're saying I what? Make a deal with you and you make everyone forget about what I've done?" Leafy asks.

"Exactly," One stated.

Leafy looked like she was deep in thought. "I...I...no,"

"What?" One asked looking offended.

"My past is in the past. I made my mistakes. I paid dearly for them. Firey risked winning BFB for me by making up for his own mistakes. And I've already made up with others that I wronged. Bubble and Balloony. Both have accepted me now, or at least are willing to give me the time of day,".

"Hmm. I see, but keep in mind that Firey? He is at risk right now. Agree to the deal, and he'll be safe," One stated.

"Fine," Leafy stated as a sheet of paper appeared, and she signed her name. "Now send me back!"

"Oh that wasn't part of the deal,"

"What?"

"I said I'd save your friend, not send you back to him!"

"No! Please! Send me back!"

"I'll see you real soon, Leafy!"

There was a flash of blue light and Leafy found herself on a strange blue plain. She looked around confused. "Hello?" she called out.

"Leafy?!" A familiar voice called out. Needle ran up to her along side Barf Bag. "Leafy, what are you doing here?"

"I would say the same thing Needy-le!" Leafy replied, almost calling Needle by her nickname that she hates.

"Don't call me Need-" Needle began raising her arm to slap Leafy before Barf Bag caught it.

"Woah, calm down Needle," Barf Bag told her. "But we don't know what we are doing here either," she stated. She then pointed to Bomby and Bell who where a bit of a ways behind her. "They where sent here too, but Bomby can't walk anymore since he doesn't have legs and Bell can't speak,"

"Hmmm," Leafy stated.

"By the way, did you encounter another number? A one perhaps?" Barf Bag asked Leafy.

"Yeah. Why?"

"We did as well. I wonder what she wants with us?" Barf Bag asked

"Yeah. Me to" Leafy stated.
