Chapter 17- Still Into You

Kim stood nervously to the side.

His palms were sweaty and he struggled to remain calm.

Will they like him? Will he make a bad impression? What if he ruin everything for Chay?

He can't be the reason why Chay loses everything he worked so hard for. Maybe he should have done more prepping and watched a few more videos first.

"OK!" The stage manager spoke up, knocking Kim out of his downward spiral. He knows there's no turning back now. "And we're live in '5. 4.'"

She continues to indicate the rest of the numbers with her fingers before giving Chay a thumbs up. Chay looks to the side at a giant monitor beside him so that he can read the comments. He read some greets and acknowledged a few as they came in.

Kim thought that he looked adorable in his get-up. Chay wore a white button-up tucked into brown trousers and he had on a brown apron on top of the outfit. Chay convinced Kim to wear a white bakery uniform with giant buttons and thin brown trimming.

Kim won't lie and say that the uniform isn't soft and breathable.

He was surprised when Chay asked him if he wanted to guest star on his channel last week while they were having a binge marathon at Chay's condo. Kim hesitated at first but eventually Chay convinced him to do it saying that it would mean a lot to Chay and his subscribers.

"Welcome to this week's video, Everyone!" Chay finally says when there were enough people who joined the Live stream. "Or should I say 'Surprise Live'?"

He giggles to himself mischievously but Kim thought that Chay had to be the cutest bad guy to ever exist. Chay watches the comments continue to freak out as his giggles continue. Everyone was expecting the usual video upload today so the Live was a pleasant surprise for them.

"Ok. Ok. I know. I know." Chay finally decided to speak up again once he got an idea on the general consensus. "Well I know that I said that we would have a special guest in this week's video so I hope you guys are as excited as I am. But please go easy on him because between you and I, I think he's really nervous."

Chay leans in towards the camera and cups a hand around his mouth as if to tell a secret but he uses the opposite hand than the side Kim is standing on so Kim could still see his mouth. Not to mention that Chay didn't even attempt to whisper at all.

Chay glances over towards Kim who was standing to his left side. He bites his lip to hide his smile as his eyes showed how much he's having fun.

The only thought that Kim had was 'I want to kiss you right now.'

"So give it up for-. Drum roll please." Chay beats on the kitchen island as he makes the noises of a drum. "My husband, the Kimhant Theerapanyakul!"

With that, Kim takes one last deep breath before walking over to where Chay is standing with his hands stretched out towards Kimas if presenting him to the audience.

"Sawatdee Khrap."

Kim wais to the camera and catches a glimpse at the screen on the other side of Chay only to see the chat in a frenzy. His eyes went wide as he saw the comments go in a blur. They passed so quickly that they were mere white lines with colors beside them. His head was spinning just thinking of just trying to read them.

"Oh wo-. What the?!" Chay looks over at the screen to see what caught Kim's attention before his own eyebrows shot up in surprise as well.

Chay's lives typically bring in about 500k views in the beginning before they slowly build up as the stream continues and caps around 2-3 million watchers by the end. Well apparently with the announcement of Kim joining the Live the viewer count jumped instantly to 2 million and climbed exponentially and now they had 5 million viewers watching them.
