15-year-old Beatrice, with a heart full of unrequited love, believed that she had earned her place of always being by 16-year-old Patrick's side. Because Patrick was her neighbor and long-time crush, she worked hard to excel in everything, hoping to catch his attention and potentially develop a closer relationship.

For years, she was happy and content with just being by his side, now as his vice president, but things are no longer looking good for Beatrice, as Patrick unexpectedly revealed that he wanted to confess to his crush.

With the possibility of the end of the world looming and an unknown girl threatening to replace Beatrice in what she thinks is her rightful place, Beatrice finds herself torn between two options–will she continue keeping her feelings a secret from Patrick and everyone else? Or will she finally get the courage to confess to Patrick and attempt to win him over instead?
