The Day after Confession

The courthouse was buzzing with activity as Jisoo and Jennie worked on a high-profile case. Everything was going so well and nice until Irene make her appearance in their life.

Jennie,always composed and professional, had to interact with Judge Irene, a new addition to the judicial team. Irene was known for her charm and charisma, which didn't go unnoticed by Jennie.

During a meeting with Judge Irene, Jennie seemed particularly engaged, laughing at Irene's jokes and exchanging flirtatious glances. Jisoo, who had come to drop off some documents, witnessed the interaction from a distance. Her heart sank as she saw Jennie's flirtatious behavior with Irene.

Judge Irene was charming and engaging, and the conversation quickly turned flirtatious. Jennie, although aware of the flirtation, seemed to enjoy the attention, which made Jisoo uneasy. She watched from a distance, her feelings of jealousy rising as she observed Jennie's laughter and the ease with which she interacted with Irene.

Later, as the evening wore on, Jisoo couldn't hold back her frustration. She approached Jennie and said, "You seemed to be having a great time with Judge Irene. Are you planning on making her your new partner in crime?"

Jennie, taken aback by Jisoo's tone, replied, "I was just talking to her. We were discussing reforms. What's the big deal?"

Jisoo's voice grew more intense, "The big deal is that you were flirting with her right in front of me. You didn't even try to hide it."

Jennie's eyes narrowed, "Are you seriously accusing me of something? I'm just networking for a good cause."

Jisoo's frustration boiled over, "It's not just about the flirting, Jennie. It's about how you made me feel like I don't matter."

Jennie's face softened slightly, but her irritation was clear, "I don't see why you're making such a fuss,You are overreacting and You know how important this is for me."

The argument continued to escalate. Jisoo's voice cracked as she said, "I am not saying that talking with someone and being friends with someone is wrong Jennie,It's about you making me feel like I'm not a priority in your life,She was literally flirting with you in front of me and you were also flirting back which Isn't right thing to do when you are in relationship with someone,You are hurting me by doing this."

Jennie, taken aback, replied, "Jisoo, it was just a friendly interaction. You're overreacting."

Jisoo's eyes filled with tears. "It didn't feel friendly to me. It felt like you were making a show of it, and it hurts because you never act that way with me."

But the argument escalated. Jisoo, feeling deeply hurt and unappreciated, walked away, leaving Jennie feeling confused and angry didn't follow Jisoo because she felt like her girlfriend was accusing her.

That night, Jisoo couldn't shake off the pain. She lay awake in bed, tears streaming down her face. Her mind replayed the day's events, the hurtful words and Jennie's seemingly indifferent response.
