Jisoo stormed into Jennie's apartment, her heart pounding, her mind racing. The case they had been working on together had reached its boiling point, and the pressure between them had reached a dangerous high. But it wasn't just the case. It was everything that had been simmering under the surface for 2 weeks

Jennie barely had time to react as Jisoo slammed the door shut behind her, her eyes burning with a mixture of anger and frustration.

"What the hell is going on with you?" Jisoo demanded, her voice sharper than she intended.

Jennie stood up from the couch, her own anger bubbling to the surface. "What's going on with me? What's going on with you, Jisoo? You've been pushing me away ever since that day when we both argued about Irene thing."

"I haven't been pushing you away!" Jisoo interrupted, her tone rising. "I've been trying to figure out what the hell we're doing!"

Jennie took a step forward, her jaw clenched. "We're doing what we've always done—arguing, avoiding what's really going on."

Jisoo's hands balled into fists at her sides, her frustration boiling over. "You always have to be in control, don't you? Even now, you're trying to control how I feel!"

Jennie scoffed, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "And you? You're always pretending like nothing's wrong, like you're perfectly fine with ignoring and avoiding me even when you're not."

Before Jisoo could respond, Jennie stepped closer, their faces now inches apart. The air between them was thick with unresolved tension, their emotions swirling like a storm ready to break.

Jisoo's breath came in short, her heart pounding louder in her chest. Without thinking, she grabbed Jennie by the arm, pulling her closer, until Jennie's back hit the wall with a soft thud.

The sudden movement startled Jennie, but she didn't back down. Instead, she looked straight into Jisoo's eyes, her breath hitching as their faces were mere inches apart.

"What are you doing?" Jennie whispered, her voice suddenly softer, yet laced with a challenge.

Jisoo's chest heaved, her fingers still gripping Jennie's arm. She didn't answer. Instead, she leaned in closer, her lips brushing just beside Jennie's ear, her breath hot against Jennie's skin.

"I'm tired of pretending," Jisoo whispered, her voice low and filled with emotion. "I'm tired of this ignoring and avoiding game we've been playing since last fucking 2 weeks."

Jennie's heart raced at Jisoo's words, the anger between them quickly transforming into something else—something far more powerful.

Jennie met Jisoo's gaze, her lips parting slightly as she felt Jisoo's intensity, the raw emotion crackling between them. Her voice softened, filled with a mix of frustration and longing. "Then stop ignoring it."

In that instant, the last wall between them crumbled. Jisoo's grip on Jennie's arm loosened, her hands moving to Jennie's waist, pulling her closer in a way that was both tender and desperate.

Their lips collided in a heated kiss, all the anger and passion they had been holding back finally spilling over. The kiss was fierce, full of emotion, as though they were both pouring weeks of frustration and desire into that single moment.

Jisoo pressed Jennie harder against the wall, her hands tangled in Jennie's hair as the kiss deepened, their bodies impossibly close. Jennie responded with equal intensity, her arms wrapping around Jisoo's neck, pulling her in even closer, as if she never wanted to let go.

But even in the heat of the moment, there was something more beneath the surface—something raw, vulnerable, and unspoken.

When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathing heavily, their foreheads resting against each other's as they tried to catch their breath. The room was silent, save for the sound of their rapid breathing, but the tension between them hadn't disappeared—it had only changed.

Jennie looked up at Jisoo, her voice barely a whisper. "Why do we always do this to each other?"

Jisoo closed her eyes, her heart still racing. "Because we care too much," she admitted, her voice raw and filled with emotion. "And we don't know how to deal with it."

Jennie's fingers traced along Jisoo's jawline, her touch gentle despite the intensity of the moment. "Maybe we don't have to fight it anymore."

Jisoo's heart swelled at Jennie's words, the anger and frustration between them finally giving way to something softer—something real.

She leaned down, pressing a softer, gentler kiss to Jennie's lips, one that was filled not with anger, but with tenderness and a promise of something more.

When she pulled back, Jisoo rested her forehead against Jennie's once more, her voice soft. "I don't want to fight with you anymore, Jennie. I just... want you."

Jennie smiled softly, her fingers brushing through Jisoo's hair. "Then let's stop fighting, and just be."
