"Here we are, Parum City.
This place has a ton of different amenities for Nexomon tamers to use," Amelie said as she then pointed us to the different locales. "That building with the big cross on it is the healing station. Inside, you'll be able to heal your Nexomon and use a special storage unit that you can use to switch out Nexomon if you have over 6," Amelie said as she then pointed to the house to the east of it. "That's the shop, where you can buy supplies with the money you earn from defeating Nexomon and other tamers. They offer more items as your rank goes up and each shop in the world has different items available... to the east is the area with the flying airships, which is the only effective means to get to the Drake Isles, where the dragons reside... to the west is the research center, where they study the nature of Cores created from special elemental shards... and due north of us is the Guild, where Tamers get most of their jobs from," Amelie said, me smirking at that."Okay, I'm going to go heal my Nexomon and you guys can wait for me," I said, Ross frowning and Nora nodding.
"Why do we always have to wait for you and Coco?" Ross groaned.
"Don't you know the saying 'patience is a virtue'?" Nora asked with a smile.
"What the heck is a virtue?" Ross asked, Coco frowning.
"Obviously it's something important you don't care about and you're only 15," Coco said, me smirking at that as I then went to the healing center and saw that there was a very tall and feminine robot there with a smile on her face.
"Hello there, miss. Do your Nexomon need healing?" she asked, me nodding at that. "Okay..." she said as she then used some kind of healing pulse on me and my Nexotraps and I suddenly felt a bit better. "There you are, your Nexomon are fully healed!" she smiled, me smirking at that.
"Thanks," I said quietly, her giggling as I then went out of the healing center and towards the guild, me and Coco feeling the anticipation in our spines as we went up the long staircase and into the tall building to see that the other two were waiting for me.
"Ugh... So, you want to be Nexomon tamers, then?" the girl behind the counter asked, me frowning at her as Coco then groaned.
"Yes, we do," he frowned.
"Well, we accept anyone who has a Nexomon... even the bare beginners are given to us and I have no clue why," the receptionist groaned, Coco frowning at that.
"I see... you're one of those people, aren't you?" he asked, me smiling at that.
"Look, I don't like it anymore than you do, kitty cat... so, do you have Nexomon?" the receptionist asked, me and the others producing our Nexotraps with the Nexomon within them and her sighing. "Very well, here are your bronze badges," she sighed as I then got mine and immediately did an epic pose with a smile, everyone looking at me like I was crazy.
"Um... sierra?" Everyone's looking at us," Coco frowned, me feeling a bit embarrassed as I then went to the receptionist with a smile, the sweat rolling down my head from the humiliation I gave to myself.
"Um, yeah... don't ever do that again, sierra... anyways, if you're ready, I can give you your first quest from Amelie herself... for you and your kitty cat friend, that is... the others will get their own quests," the receptionist said.
"Aw, we don't get to work together?" Nora asked.
"Only for missions of the utmost importance, but these missions are very simple... are you ready to start?" she asked, me nodding at that. "Very well, go through the door on the right and you'll meet with Miss Amelie," she said, me doing just that and going through the door to see Amelie was there along with a girl dressed in some very cool clothes. She had a pickaxe, a large sack of supplies on her back, she wore a sweater and long work pants, dirty boots, and she had a pair of goggles on her face.
