The Serial Killer

The year was 2001, Where officer Mitchell was at his desk going over some of his reports. When the chief called him. "Mitchell, Get over here." "Yes sir, I'm coming." "Have you heard about the missing girl? Who actually went missing last night." "Yes sir, I heard of it." "Well, I'm putting you on this case." "Thank you so much sir, You will not regret it." "Of course, I will not regret it or else it will be your ass missing. Now get out there and start searching." "Yes sir." Mitchell took a team of seven officers to go search for the missing girl. Mitchell started to go to house by house looking for the missing girl and asking every single person. "Have any of you seen this girl before." No matter which house Mitchell went to, Nobody has any clue who the girl was and if they see her anywhere. Mitchell was getting worried because this girl had been missing for almost 46 hours. Then an idea went into his head. "Okay guys, Let's try going to the woods and search to see if we can find her there." Mitchell and 7 other officers put on their rain boots and went to search the woods for the missing girl. They search the woods for 3 days and nights. When they were in the middle of nowhere in the woods, They found a suspicious looking old rusted oil barrel floating in the middle of the lake. One of the officers jumped into the lake to swim to see what was in the barrel, But when the officer was halfway there. Officer Mitchell started yelling. GET OUT OF THE WATER. There's a big crocodile in the water, Hurry up and get out. The officer swim for his life. The officer almost got his legs bitten off. When the officer was out of the water Mitchell said to them all. This lake is too dangerous for us to swim in. We cannot get any boats in the woods to go in the lake. We will have to search somewhere else and come back to this location later on. After searching for two more hours in the woods. Officer Mitchell started to tell everyone that it was time to head back to the station and come back tomorrow. When Mitchell got into the station the next day he ran into the chief. "Hello chief." "Mitchell, What's your report on the missing girl?" "Well chief, We did some research around the neighborhood. We ask everyone did they see this missing girl. Nobody had any clue where she went. I don't think nobody saw her before she disappeared. We went in the woods to search for her. We got to a lake where there are a lot of crocodiles but there is this one suspicious Barrel alone by itself in the water not that rusted though." '"You guys saw a barrel in a random lake in the woods. Did anyone in the team try to get it out." "We tried to get it out, But there were a couple crocodiles in the lake." "Crap, Nobody got hurt today right?" "No sir, Everyone of us came back fine." "Okay that's great, Tomorrow I want you to take a fishing magnet and fish that Barrel out of the lake. if that fishing net doesn't work do anything to take it out of there and check what's going on around there." "Yes sir, I'll make sure of that." "Ok Mitchell, Go rest your body because you will have a long day ahead tomorrow." "Yes chief. Good Night." The next morning officer Mitchell and his 7 officers went back out to try to fish the oil barrel out of the water, But Officer Mitchell forgot which lake it actually was. Mitchell was so disappointed in himself He said to himself. "Chief is going to fire my ass for this shit. Oh my God, Why did it have to rain last night? Why can't I just get a break. How am I going to explain this to the chief. I just hope Chief is having a good day today. Okay guys, Let's just go back and get some scuba gears and extra help for the crocodile." "Okay sir." Officer Mitchell drove back to the police station. Where he saw the chief talking to a couple officers. The chief turned around and said to Mitchell. "Mitchell, What the hell are you doing back here?" "Sir, we have a problem." "What type of problem do we have here now Mitchell?" "You know last night it rained right." "Yes, I know it rained last night." "Well, The sign we put up last night got washed away by the rain." "Okay I get it, That's not a problem. Go inside and get the scuba gears." "Sir, I don't want to pull your balls, But I'm just saying I kind of forgot which lake it was exactly." "Are you fucking kidding me Mitchell. You forgot what Lake it was and the area too?" "Yes chief and I'm so sorry. Yesterday it was just so much things going on. We we're running back and forth to different houses search in the woods and stuff. I just misplaced the location of the lake because you know that the four Lake are two miles from each other. So I can't remember if it was the fourth one, the second one, or the third one. Maybe the first one."  "God damn Mitchell, You better find this missing girl and that lake too." "Yes chief." The next day, Mitchell and a search party of 40 people went out searching in the woods. They split up in group of 4. 10 civilian will help an officer search in each Lake. Lake one, They did not find anything inside of it. Lake two, They did not see anything inside of it just like lake one. Lake three, They found a bag with old clothes, But not the oil barrel. Lake four, is where they found the oil barrel at the bottom of the lake. It took them 40 minutes to pull the oil barrel out of the water. Upon opening the oil barrel, They found the little girl inside dead with blood all over her. Everyone started screaming and asking questions. "OH MY GOD... Who could do this to a little girl like this?" Officer Mitchell radio connecting to Chief. "We got a homicide. Repeat we got a homicide." "We found the little girl Chief, Inside the oil barrel." "OH MY GOD, Who the hell could do this to that little girl?" Okay Mitchell, Close off the scene we will be out there soon to investigate. Tell everyone thank you for helping us to find the missing girl, But right now we have to close off the scene for investigators to come in. "Ok chief." Upon everybody leaving, Officer John came up to Mitchell who was given a thank you speech to the group and told him that. "We found another Barrel." "Okay guys, Lets get it out of the water." After another 40 minutes of pulling the barrel from the middle of the lake. They found another dead little girl's body in an older Barrel. Mitchell was so horrified that the little town could actually have a serial killer lurking around.
