Izuku the slug slinging hero

chapter 1: quirk reveal

The sun had barely risen, casting a soft glow through the curtains, when four-year-old Izuku Midoriya was already up and running around the house like a whirlwind. Today was the day he had been waiting for — the day he would find out his quirk! He couldn't contain his excitement, zooming from room to room, his little feet pattering loudly on the wooden floors.

"Mom! Dad! Today's the day!" he shouted, his high-pitched voice filled with joy.

Bursting into his parents' room, Izuku didn't hesitate. He leaped onto the bed, landing right on top of his dad, Hashi Midoriya, who was jolted awake with a startled groan.

"Ugh, Izuku..." Hashi grumbled, though a smile quickly tugged at his lips. His son's excitement was contagious, and even though it was still early, he couldn't bring himself to be annoyed.

Inko Midoriya, groggy from sleep, stirred as well, the loud thud and squeals waking her from a peaceful slumber. "Izuku, sweetie, it's too early," she murmured, though she couldn't help but smile at the sight of her energetic little boy bouncing around.

"Come on, Dad! Mom! We have to go! I want to find out my quirk!" Izuku's eyes were wide with excitement, and his messy green hair stuck out in all directions, adding to his overall chaotic energy.

Hashi stretched, letting out a long yawn before ruffling his son's hair. "Alright, alright, kiddo. Let's get ready, and we'll head to the doctor."

Izuku practically vibrated with excitement, running out of the room to grab his shoes, not even realizing they weren't leaving for another hour. Hashi chuckled, shaking his head as he sat up in bed, turning to Inko, who smiled warmly at him.

"Our little bundle of energy," Inko said softly, her eyes full of love for their son.

Hashi's smile softened as he gazed at her. "He's just like you. So full of life." He leaned over, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead before getting out of bed. "I better go make sure he doesn't break anything while we get ready."

Inko laughed softly, watching Hashi leave the room to chase after their son.

At the doctor's office, Izuku sat on the edge of the examination table, swinging his legs back and forth with nervous energy. Hashi sat next to him, giving him reassuring pats on the back. The doctor entered, smiling as he held the chart in his hand.

"Well, Izuku, it seems you've got quite an interesting quirk," the doctor said, glancing at Hashi before looking at Izuku. "Your quirk is called Creature Creation. You'll be able to create any type of creature you can think of, as long as you understand what it can do."

Izuku's eyes widened in awe. "Really?! So I can make anything?!" he asked, his voice full of wonder.

The doctor nodded. "That's right. As long as you can imagine it and know how it works, you can bring it to life."

Izuku's face lit up with pure joy. "I'm going to make the coolest creatures ever!" He turned to his dad with sparkling eyes. "Did you hear that, Dad? I can make creatures!"

Hashi chuckled, feeling a surge of pride in his chest. "I heard, champ. You're going to do amazing things with this quirk."

As they left the doctor's office, Izuku couldn't stop talking about all the creatures he was going to create. Hashi watched his son with a warm smile, knowing that whatever challenges lay ahead, he would always support Izuku. After all, being a Midoriya meant standing by your loved ones — no matter what.

As they stepped out of the doctor's office and into the bright afternoon sunlight, Izuku's imagination was already running wild. He clung to his father's hand, practically bouncing on his feet.
