Autumn woke up from her 3rd nap of the day. It was around midnight. It had been 2 days since the miscarriage and she was drowning her sorrows in drinks. She knew it wasn't right, but it was her only coping mechanism.                                                                                                                                      She put her glass down and went to sit on the couch. She wasn't doing so well, Marjorie had given her some time to recover and said there was no pressure and she could come back whenever she felt she needed to. She was in her thoughts on the couch when she heard a little squeak. Cadaver was about to hop on the couch. She picked up her small black cat with golden honey eyes. She placed her on her chest, patting her as she sat. Cadie curled up and began to purr, then fell into a deep sleep. Autumn could feel the quick breaths of Cadie. Tears began pooling up in her eyes.                                                                                                                                                  She just imagined what it would be like to hold her very own child like this. to watch her child grow up, learn new things, play sports and be themselves. She was sitting there all alone in the pitch black, straight face just with tears streaming down, nonstop. But couldn't do this anymore.
