It was a sunny afternoon, and Kiyotaka decided it was the perfect day for a small outing. With nine-month-old twins Kiyo and Suz growing more curious by the day, he thought it would be fun to take them out for ice cream with Gojo.

As they walked down the street, Gojo stayed close to Kiyotaka, keeping an eye on the twins. Kiyo and Suz were bundled up in a stroller, wide-eyed and fascinated by everything around them. The soft hum of the city and the gentle warmth of the sun seemed to put them in a particularly good mood.

The small ice cream shop was just around the corner, and as they arrived, Gojo glanced up at Kiyotaka with a rare smile.

"Do you think they'll like it?" Gojo asked, glancing down at his baby siblings with his usual calm but curious expression.

Kiyotaka gave a small nod. "I'm sure they'll enjoy the taste," he said, giving a slight smile as they entered the shop.

Once inside, they were greeted by the cool air and the delightful scent of waffle cones and vanilla. Kiyotaka ordered a few small cups of vanilla ice cream and found a cozy corner for them to sit. He gently lifted Kiyo and Suz from the stroller, placing them on the bench next to him.

The twins were more interested in the small cups of ice cream than anything else around them, their little eyes wide with curiosity as they watched Gojo take a scoop.

"Here you go," Gojo said, offering a small spoonful to Kiyo, who reached for it eagerly, tiny fingers stretching out. However, Kiyotaka chuckled and held up a hand.

"Not yet," he said softly. "They'll get a taste if they ask for it."

Gojo gave his father a puzzled look. "They're only babies. They can't talk yet."

Kiyotaka raised an eyebrow, a small, amused smile playing at his lips. "Just wait."

The twins seemed to understand that ice cream was the prize here. Suz, in particular, watched her dad intently, her little brows furrowing in concentration. She stretched her hands out, trying to mimic what Gojo had done, but instead of words, only a few soft babbling sounds escaped her.

Then, to everyone's surprise, Suz's expression shifted, and she let out a determined little sound. "Dada!"

Gojo's eyes went wide, while Kiyotaka's expression softened in surprise and a trace of pride. It was Suz's first word, and she'd chosen it over ice cream.

"Did you hear that?" Gojo asked, a bit of excitement creeping into his voice. He looked between Kiyotaka and his little sister, who was now gazing at Kiyotaka with an expectant expression.

"Dada," she repeated, a little more insistent this time, her small fingers reaching toward the cup in his hand.

Kiyotaka chuckled and took a small spoonful of ice cream, carefully offering it to Suz. She tasted it, her little face lighting up as the sweet, cool flavor melted on her tongue. Her reaction made Kiyotaka smile even more as he watched her.

Then, not to be outdone, Kiyo turned to Gojo, his big eyes focused intently on the ice cream.

Gojo looked down at him, amused. "Are you going to say something, too?"

Kiyo tilted his head, and for a moment, it seemed like he might just keep staring at the ice cream. But then, with a determined look, he pointed his little finger at Gojo and said, "Dada."

Kiyotaka raised an eyebrow, and Gojo's expression turned to one of pure surprise. He looked at his little brother in shock, and then laughed, giving Kiyo a tiny scoop of ice cream as a reward.

"So... I guess you're 'Dada' now, too," Kiyotaka commented dryly, a glint of humor in his eyes.

Gojo rolled his eyes slightly but gave Kiyo a gentle pat on the head as the little boy enjoyed his first taste of ice cream. "Guess I'll take it as a compliment," he said with a grin.

The outing continued with laughter and a few more "Dada" requests from the twins until it was time to head home.

Back at home, the family gathered for dinner, and Suzune couldn't wait to hear about their little outing. The table was filled with the usual chatter, and after dinner, Gojo settled down with another small bowl of ice cream, this time sharing with the twins.

Kiyotaka held Suz in his arms while Kiyo happily played with his mom, Suzune. But as soon as Suz caught sight of the ice cream Gojo was enjoying, her eyes lit up, and she leaned toward him.

"Dada!" she said again, her tiny hands reaching out.

Suzune blinked, turning to Kiyotaka in surprise. "Did she just say...?"

Kiyotaka smiled, nodding. "She said it at the ice cream shop too. And apparently, Kiyo decided to call Gojo 'Dada' as well."

Suzune's eyes softened as she looked at her husband, shaking her head with a fond smile. "I can't believe their first words were because of ice cream."

Kiyotaka chuckled. "It seems they'll do just about anything for it. Must be a family trait."

Suzune crossed her arms with a sigh, clearly pretending to be serious. "You know, I was hoping their first word would be something else. But I guess I can't be too mad." She looked down, just as Kiyo, who had been cuddling with her, looked up and said, "Mama."

Suzune's expression softened immediately, her hand covering her mouth in surprise and joy. "Kiyo... did you just say 'Mama'?"

Kiyo giggled, repeating it once more, a big smile on his little face. "Mama!"

The whole family erupted into laughter, with Gojo shaking his head in amusement. "Guess he knows how to win you over."

Suzune could only laugh, her heart full. It was a moment she knew she'd remember forever, surrounded by her family, with the twins' first words and their new love for ice cream marking a sweet new memory.
