Recap:

This is from Ray.. he asked us to give it to you..

And this stopped Ana from closing the door...

Present:

I eyed Max and Leo warily, unsure what to expect. "What is it?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Max stepped forward, his sympathetic expression making me feel a little vulnerable. "Ray asked us to give this to you. It's a letter."

Leo handed me a sealed envelope with my name on it, written in Ray's familiar handwriting. My heart skipped a beat as I took the envelope, my fingers tracing the outline of my name.

"Open it," Max encouraged gently.

I hesitated, fearing the emotions that would flood out. But something about Max's kind tone reassured me. I opened the envelope and pulled out the letter.

Baby sis♡

I am sorry, baby sis, because if you're reading this, I'm gone. I know it's hard to accept, but I want you to be strong. You're the bravest person I know.
Ana, I've left you in good hands. Max and Leo are my brothers, my family. They'll take care of you, protect you, and help you navigate the challenges ahead.
Don't fight them, Ana. Trust them. They know what's best for you.
I know I didn't tell you everything about my work, but I did it to protect you. Now, it's time for you to understand.
You're not just my sister; you're my legacy. My sacrifices were all for you.
Be strong, baby sis. You got this.

With all my love,
Ray

Tears streamed down my face as I finished reading. I felt a mix of emotions: grief, gratitude, and curiosity.

I looked up at Max and Leo, searching for answers. "Why did he leave me with you?" I asked, my voice cracking.

Max's expression softened. "We're honored to take care of you, Ana. Ray trusted us with his life."

Leo nodded. "We'll do everything to keep you safe and happy."

Their words resonated deep within me, but I was still unsure. Could I trust these strangers? Ray's letter said I should, but my heart was still hesitant.

I took a deep breath, trying to process everything. Ray's words echoed in my mind: "Don't fight them, Ana. Trust them."

Was I ready to trust?

Would I accept their help?

What lay ahead for me?

My thoughts swirled, but one thing was certain - my life would never be the same without Ray.

I crumpled to the floor, the letter still clutched in my hand. Tears streamed down my face as I read Ray's final words.

"Please, just leave me alone," I begged, my voice shaking.

Max and Leo exchanged worried glances. "Ana, we can't leave you," Max said gently. "It's not safe."

"Please," I repeated, my voice firm. "Just go."

They hesitated, but I turned and walked away, leaving them in the living room.

I rushed to my room, locked the door behind me, and collapsed onto my bed.

Tears flowed uncontrollably as I mourned the loss of my brother, my rock.

Exhaustion eventually claimed me, and I drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, sunlight streaming through my window woke me.

I sat up, rubbing my eyes, remembering the events of the previous night.

Max and Leo must have left by now, I thought.

I took a deep breath and unlocked my door.

As I descended the stairs, I expected silence.

But my heart sank when I saw them - Max and Leo, sipping coffee in the kitchen.

Their calm demeanor contrasted with my turmoil.

"You're still here," I stated, trying to hide my shock.

Max stood up, his expression understanding. "We can't leave you, Ana. Ray entrusted you to us."

Leo nodded in agreement. "We promised to keep you safe."

My mind reeled with questions and emotions.

Should I trust them?
Why did Ray trust them?
And why do they give me chills?

Their words only fueled my uncertainty.

Just then, my phone buzzed. Ben's name flashed on the screen.

"Excuse me," I said, answering the call.

"Ana, I need to tell you something," Ben said, his tone serious.

"What is it?" I asked.

"I work for Max and Leo," Ben revealed. "They appointed me to watch over you."

My mind reeled with questions and doubts.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, feeling betrayed.

"I was instructed to keep it confidential," Ben explained.

I hung up, my eyes narrowing at Max and Leo.

"What does Ben mean?" I demanded.

Max's expression remained calm. "We hired Ben to ensure your safety."

Leo added, "We want to protect you, Ana."

But I wasn't convinced.

"You're just saying that," I accused, my voice shaking.

Max and Leo exchanged concerned glances.

"We understand your doubts, Ana," Max said gently. "But we're committed to keeping you safe."

Their words fell flat.

I turned and walked away, leaving them in the kitchen..

...Was I truly safe with max and leo,or was I just a pawn in their game?!

So guyss what do you think Ana will do now..will she trust them and what Max and leo have decided for her...
