A/N a tribute to the FUCKING PAINFUL migraines I get far too often for my liking
This is a short one

Taylor woke early on that normal Monday morning, and her head chose violence. As soon as she sat up a pulsing, searing pain erupted behind her eyes. She groaned as the pain spread, making her head feel like it was going explode. Each time her eyes moved another jolt of pain would be sent through her body, making her want to gauge them out.

She swung her legs over the side of the bed and stood up. Not a smart idea. Stars danced around her vision as the pulsing, throbbing pain behind her eyes increased making her want to sob, or kill herself. Both.

She stumbled into the bathroom, collapsing by the toilet as her stomach churned, puking up her dinner from the night before. That just made her head feel worse and she let out a sob as she leaned back against the wall. Oooh, that feels nice.

"You okay baby?" Travis entered the bathroom after hearing all the commotion. Taylor just let out a cry of pain, shoving her palms against her ears as Travis's voice ricocheted off the walls in her brain. Travis immediately clamped his mouth shut, sitting next to Taylor on the tiled floor and pulling her trembling body into his.

He sat there silently in the dark bathroom as Taylor sobbed into his chest, her hands coming down from her ears. But instead two fists plunged into her eyes, rubbing them roughly, trying to relieve some of the pressure.

Travis just silently pulled her hands down, rubbing her back comfortingly. Eventually her cries ceased and Travis decided to risk it and say something.
"What's wrong?" He whispered quietly.
" I have a migraine" Taylor mumbled, both her hands massaging her temples as she tried to ignore the pain pulsing through her head.
"I'm sorry baby, let's get you back to bed and I'll go get you an ice pack" Travis stood up. Taylor just nodded, her eyes squeezed shut.

She was picked up and laid back down in their bed. Immediately she grabbed a pillow and pushed her face against it, hard, trying something, anything, to relieve her of this pain. Travis left her briefly to grab an ice pack and returned quickly with one and some paracetamol, as well as a glass of water.

He helped Taylor to sitting position, her eyes still squeezed shut.
"Could you open your eyes for me please Tay?" He asked gently. Taylor did so, fighting back tears as the light from the lamp made her eyes ache. Travis noticed this and quickly switched it off, giving her the medicine before helping her lie down again.

He held the ice pack to her forehead and she sighed in content, closing her eyes and hoping to drift off to sleep.

A/N I've literally had a migraine every day for the past week or so, and school are so bad they literally never let me go home or go to the sick room for long.n
