"Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Psalms twenty-five verses four to five." I chuckled softly and nodded, high-fiving him when I finally walked closer to where he was waiting.
Nakaabang na nga siya sa labas ng bahay ko, he was leaning on his car as he waits for me patiently, hindi an siya pumasok pa kaya inabutan ko siya agad ng banana milk.
"You were reading Psalms?" he nodded and smiled widely.
"You know it's my personal favorite right now," tumawa ulit ako ng mahina at tumango.
"I know, Jath," he winked and then nodded, patting the top of my head and then kinuha niya na ang dala dala kong bag, nilobo ko na lang pisngi ko ng ibinigay ko sa kanya 'yun ng walang imik.
"Are you back on Studio Base?" I nodded at Jathen's question when we started leaving.
"Inayos na nila ang opening hour sng Studio Base and I can somehow do it thrice a week." I explained and then we started walking, kinuha niya ang isa pang banana milk na nasa kamay ko tapos nakatuon lang siya doon habang naglalakad kami.
"Were fixing it slowly, it works for everyone rin naman ang desisyon and so Pev and sila Kaelen and Croxell started checking how they can manage to change it." he mumbled and then inabot sa akin pabalik ang kinuha niyang banana milk ko pero may straw na nung binalik niya.
I smiled and accepted it.
"Bakit ka naglalakad kasama ako?" bigla ko naalala na may dala dala nga pala siyang sasakyan.
"I'm walking with you to Haz's shop," he answered and then naka stuck na ang straw ng banana milk niya sa lips niya.
"Yeah, I know, but why?"
"You love walking in the morning so you can see and appreciate the sky and the trees and the possibility of seeing the birds," he answered as he looked away, my lips parted and I looked away too.
"How'd you know," I whispered and took another sip from the banana milk.
"You always walk your way to the pastry shop. I know about the birds and the sky, Ithiel. You always wanna appreciate his creations." I slowly smiled as I avoided looking at him and nodded.
"Okay," I said and smiled to myself.
"'Di ka pupuntang pastry shop later?" I pursed my lips and mentally thought.
"Hindi yata kakayanin, depends on Hazael's to do list for today in the shop, kung 'di naman na masyadong marami ang mga need tapusin na quota, baka dumaan kami sa pastry. You? How's your day gonna be?" He put his one hand on his pocket and then he started looking up as we walked slowly.
"Hmm I have no idea, were gonna be shooting something later on pero 'di lahat ng members kasali, I heard that Madrous is free today and that means..." tumingin siya sa akin kagaya ng pagtingin ko sa kanya at pareho kaming tumawa.
"He's gonna spend it all with Hazael so that means I will be with him too," tango ko na nagpatawa sa kanya.
"Yup, they're hanging out a lot, ever since they met again lagi na sila magkasama, minsan naabutan ko si Hazael na nasa bahay." I licked my lips and just listened to him.
"Hazael will take care of him, alam ko namang 'di niya hahayaan na mapahamak si Madrous, and I'm sure ganoon din si Madrous sa kanya, mukha namang marunong na sila mag lie low kapag magkasama sila and want nila lumabas publicly, may sarili silang mundo if you're gonna ask me."
"Madrous never just has his own world, they're both rays of sunshine kaya nagkakasundo sila."
"Are you sure you're not tired of walking with me right now?" He glanced down at me and shook his head and then smirked.
