Chapter 18

"Dinner was amazing!" I said as we walked towards the car.

Shawn then again opened the passenger door for me. I thanked him and got in. He walked to the drivers door and slid in.

"You didn't have to do all of this for me. No ones ever done anything like this for me. I'm just another ordinary girl."

"Your not ordinary. Your extraordinary, Like no other." He grabbed my hand and continued.

"You are the finest, loveliest, tenderest, and most beautiful person I have ever known; and even that is an understatement. You should never love anyone who treats you like your ordinary. You deserve the best life you can get."

I felt my eyes tear up. I moved closer to him and he did the same. Soon our lips touched and he kissed me passionately. At that moment I knew he was the one. I know i said it before. But this conversation right here proved he is the one. I know there is no one else on the planet that can make me feel the way Shawn makes me feel. We pulled away from the kiss. Shawn had a smile on his face.

"Now lets get home before Mommy Cam grounds me for being late."

I giggled.

"Okay."

---------AT THE HOUSE---------

We pulled into the driveway. I hopped out of the car, and walked to the front door. Shawn followed behind me. I opened the door and quietly walked in. I saw Cam and Nash on the sofa knocked out. Once Shawn saw them he grabbed my hand and walked me to the backyard.

"What are we doing out here?" I said as he closed the door behind him.

"I thought We could take a swim."

"Let me go get my swim suit. I said walking towards the house.

I felt an arm spin me around till I was facing Shawn.

"Who says we need to change. I mean you don't want to wake Nash and cam."

I smile.

"Okay."

I pulled off my shirt and skirt till I was in my Bra and underwear. I jumped in the pull. Once I reached the surface I turned to Shawn.

"You coming?" I said with a smirk.

He gave me a smirk back and began to take off his short. He threw it on the ground and pulled down his pants till he was left in his boxers. He immediately jumped in the pool. Once he reached the surface he swam towards me. When he reached me he grabbed my thighs and wrapped them around his torso. I placed my hands around his neck. The stars sparkled in his eyes as he looked at me. His smile quickly turned into a frown.

"What's wrong?" I said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Sky, I-i'm afraid to lose you."

My heart sank. The whole time I was with him I forgot I had cancer. It was like whenever I was with him I had no problems to worry about.

"I'm here now. That's all that matters." I said grabbing his hand and leading him out of the pool.

We lay down on the hammock next to our clothes. He wrapped his arms around me.

"So for now just hold me and don't let go. Okay?"

"Okay." He said his voice cracking.
