YOU HAD COMPLETELY forgotten about Chisaki during these past few days since things had been so hectic. Between your training with Aizawa and the time spent with Shoto and his family, there was little room left in your mind for anyone else. Rest assured, however, Chisaki hadn't been able to get you out of his head.
How was it that a seven-year-old had managed to infiltrate his thoughts so completely?
Chisaki found himself brooding over the strange hold you had on him, wondering what it was about you that stuck with him so much. He wasn't used to being thrown off balance, especially not by someone so young. The way you carried yourself, fearless and unwavering, was something he couldn't quite shake.
Today, however, you were determined to finish what you had started. You had decided to pay another visit to Shie Hassaikai, to complete your mission. Whatever the reason, Chisaki had kept a close eye on you during your first visit, and now you had to be even more careful.
The familiar dread settled in your stomach as you approached the looming gates of the Shie Hassaikai headquarters. You knew this wasn't going to be an easy task, but you couldn't let anything distract you. Not even Chisaki. This was for your mission, and you were determined to see it through.
As you stepped through the gates, a wave of tension washed over you. The guards immediately surrounded you, some with confusion on their faces, others nodding in recognition. Their eyes scanned you warily, though none seemed to act on their unease.
Before you could speak, a familiar voice broke through the silence.
"Ahh, [Name], it's nice to see you again," a man said, his hands crossed inside his yukata, his smile oddly endearing. "Did you lose your way again?"
You relaxed slightly at the sight of him, though you knew better than to fully let your guard down. This was still dangerous territory, and you needed to stay sharp.
"I just wanted to see you and Kai again," you said, your voice light as you jumped in place, pretending to be as carefree as a child would. At your response, the guards exchanged glances before dispersing, giving you space.
