I slowly opened my eyes as the rays of sunlight streamed through the open window, hitting my face in my newly bought house. It wasn't too big, nor too small-just enough for someone like me.

Yawning and stretching a bit, I immediately felt the slight weight on my body, something I had grown accustomed to. My eyes shifted down to the Renard girl who was sleeping soundly on my abdomen, her soft breaths barely audible.

The bed we shared was large enough for two people. Initially, I was going to buy two beds, but Shirayuki had protested, insisting it would be more cost-effective to get a single large one. Reluctantly, I agreed, and now here we are-she still insists on sleeping on top of me.

With a soft sigh, I gently shoved her to the side, freeing myself. Stretching once more, I worked the numbness out of my limbs, reflecting on the past week since Monsterphilia and the incident that occurred.

'Someone orchestrated that on purpose... that's for sure,' I mused, my expression remaining as indifferent as ever.

From what I've heard, the Ganesha Familia still hasn't caught whoever unlocked the cages, releasing the Silverback and other dungeon monsters into the city. All of the Ganesha Familia and Guild members who were attacked couldn't remember anything, as if they'd been brainwashed or something. The case was closed without anyone figuring out what the perpetrator wanted.

Later, after everything settled down, we found Syr at the Tavern. She told us that a friend of hers had paid for her entry to the show, and while she apologized for what happened, her expression didn't seem all that apologetic for some reason.

And then there's the wildfire of news about me defeating the Silverback despite being Falna-less. That part still bothers me. Who spread that?

I had spoken with Rose the other day, and even she seemed surprised by the news. Of course, she didn't hesitate to scold me for recklessly going up against the Silverback-apparently, it's a difficult foe even for high-level 1 adventurers.

As for who could have revealed my secret... other than Rose and her co-worker, the half-elf Eina, only Ryuu and Shirayuki know about me being Falna-less. Eina seems oblivious, Shirayuki was with me the entire time, and I doubt Ryuu would tell anyone, given I specifically asked her to keep it a secret. So, who?

'Something's cooking...' I thought to myself, the feeling gnawing at my gut. Shaking off the thoughts for now, I stood up and headed toward the bathroom for a shower.

"....what's done is done," a soft and soothing voice resonated within the 50th floor of Babel Tower, situated at the heart of the labyrinth city, Orario.

Seated luxuriously on her ornate chair, Freya, the goddess of love and beauty, gazed out over the vast city from her lofty perch. Her silver eyes, as always, looked over the entirety of Orario from the highest point in Babel, absorbing the view with quiet contemplation.
