Convince me to what?!

Hwang Mansion:-

Min seok was sitting on the couch, his legs crossed as he searched through the newspaper. Suddenly one of the guards came up to him. He looked up at the guard indicating him to continue.

"Sir, Mr. Lee and his wife are here, should I let them in?" The guard asked in a steady and slow pace.

"Wait what! Vernon and Jess are here? Why though?" He paused for a moment. "Hurry up and tell them to come in, don't keep keep them waiting." He said excitedly.

Vernon and Min Seok has been friends since childhood. They had always shared this special bond from the start. Min Seok was very excited to see his best friend after so long. He had missed him so much.

Vernon and Jess entered soon after. Min Seok straight up went in for a long hug. Ji Ah was already there by hearing the commotion. She too embraced Jess.

"Hah, what a surprise Ver!" Min Seok exclaimed. A wide grin plastered on his face.

"I know right, it's been too long since I last saw you. Where is everyone else?" Vernon started looking around.

Ji Ah and Jessica were already caught up with their chat. Just like their husbands, they had also shared a very special friendship.

"Hyunjin went to do some work, Niki has gone to school(Wait Niki and school don't seem right👀) and Yeji is hanging out with some friends. Mom is probably in the garden." Min Seok explained.

"Hyunjin.. He's always working, even the last time I came you said he was working. Give that boy some rest ya!" Vernon had always seen Hyunjin like his own son. In fact they both have seen each other's kids as their own.

"Come on Ver. You have no idea how much we've begged him to stop working and have fun. But all he does is work work work. Nothing else. But lately it's getting even worse. He can't even control his anger." Min Seok looked down, he couldn't see his son like this anymore.

The Hwangs explained everything to the Lees. They also told them about the solution found by Min Seok's mother.

"Felix...Our son's name is also Felix." Vernon chuckled brushing it of as a coincidence.

"Vernon, Jess I heard you both were here!" Came from a Seiri who was walking towards them. She trapped both of them in a big hug. Which they gladly excepts. "It's been so long dears" Seiri mumbled.

"We totally missed all of you" Jessica said.

"Then why didn't you ever come visit huh?" Seiri questioned raising her eyebrows.

They all laughed. All of them started catching up on each other's life. Time was going very fast. And before they knew it, it was already noon.

"It's already noon?!" Exclaimed Ji Ah.

"What?! That went by so fast!" Continued Jessica.

The moment was interrupted by a guard walking into the room. He had a thick sheet of paper in his hand. He passed it to Seiri.

"Here are all the information we could find about that boy" He said sharply.

"Ahm, you can leave now" Seiri started looking into the datas. Suddenly she exclaimed out loud. Everyone's attention automatically went to her.

"What, what is it?" Min Seok was startled.

Seiri sat there shocked, she was frozen throughout her body.

"I-i" She stuttered out loud.

Ji Ah snatched the paper from Seiri's hands. She carefully analysed it. Min Seok also watched. His face turned pale quickly.

Vernon and Jessica sat there confused.
Min Seok looked at them his mouth wide open. He again looked at the paper.

Having had enough of everything, Jess took the paper from Ji Ah's hands. As soon as she saw the photo of the boy, she gasped out loud.

"W-what, t-this is m-my Felix." Her hands were shaking at the thought.

"So my son is the boy you were talking about?" Vernon was the first to come out of trance. But he didn't sound mad or annoyed. He sounded... Happy..

They all looked at each other before bursting into fits of laughter.

"Ha ha, you were thinking about the marriage between Felix and Hyunjin."
Jess chocked out. All of them were laughing so much that their eyes grew teary.

Vernon soon stopped laughing. He looked serious all of a sudden, that caused everyone's laughter to die.

"Are you okay Ver?" Ji Ah asked.

"Not really, me and Jess came here for another reason. Of course we came to meet you, but I actually wanna ask for a favor." Vernon spilled.

"Of course, what is it?" Min Seok asked with a smile.

Vernon explains how the company has been going through a very big loss at the moment. "So can I borrow some money. I'll surely pay it back in no time." Vernon politely asked.

"Of course I'll give you money, you don't even need to pay it back. Consider it as a tiney tiny help from your friend." Min Seok said without any hesitation in his voice.

"Thank you so much, what have I done to deserve such a great friend like you.. " Vernon said, his eyes sparkling with joy and tears.

"It's my pleasure" Everyone else cooed at their friendship.

"Ahem, I also have a favour to ask you" Seiri said, her tone was filled with guilt.

"Surely, what is it?" Jess smiled at the older lady.

"I'm not sure if this is even appropriate to ask" Seiri said making everyone confused. She continued. "As you guys can see, I'm getting older and Lord can take me any second. I've always wanted to see my grandkids' marriage, but I definitely don't think I'll be around for Yeji's or Niki's wedding. Hyunjin is my only hope, I know this is so selfish of me... But grant me this one favour" Tears dropped down her cheeks, everyone could feel the hurt in the old woman's voice. "I want Hyunjin and Felix to marry. "

There was an unbearable silence in the room as Seiri finished. Everyone went numb, no one dared to talk.

"I-it's okay, I should've have thought about something like this in the first place." She turned to Vernon and Jessica "I get you guys, you won't want your son to marry a complete stranger, it was wrong of me to even think that way." Seiri stated, her voice echoing throughout the room.

"I don't mind..." Stated Jess.

Everyone looked at her in shock. Seiri couldn't believe her ears, what was she hearing?

"Me neither" Vernon said nodding his head at Jessica..

"Look it's okay if you both don't want to, I don't wanna force you." Seiri said softly, guilt visible in her voice.

"We're okay with the idea, in fact we're happy with our son coming into this family. That'll just deepen our bond even further." Said Vernon.. Everyone seemed to agree.

"But we'll have to convince them for this, I don't want to force them into this" Stated Ji Ah.

"Me neither" Continued Min Seok.

"I'll convince Hyunjin, but Lixie baby, you guys need to ask him" Seiri said, she couldn't hide the excitement in her voice. She sounded like a little kid who just got her candy.

"Convince me to what?"

Shit that took a different turn.This chapter was mostly the parents discussing the marriage situation. But the end was pretty much something *Sighs*...I know this is kinda toxic, but I mean, this is supposed to be toxic. I wanted to do this for the plot.
