Sonic POV.
"It's time for breakfast My Prince" one of the maids said as she entered my room. "What's on the menu today?" I asked. "Waffles and pancakes your highness" The maid answered as she fixed my bed. I was dressed in my royal blue suit with my golden crown on my head. I heard the sound of heels clicking in the hallway coming to my room. I groaned as Amy came into to view. She was wearing a pink and white gown with a silver tiara and her quills in a bun. Pearls were infused into her bun. "Sonic! I thought you would be up by now" She said. "I needed the extra sleep" I said casually. "Ugh, your so lazy" She said as she crossed her arms. "What are you doing here anyway? Don't you have your own kingdom to bother" I said. "My mother said it's important for a married couple to do everything together" She said. "We're not married" I corrected her. She giggled as she walked closer to me, putting her hands on my shoulders. "Not yet, but we will be soon. Your birthday is only a few months away and I can't wait" Amy said.

I groaned and was escorted to the dining hall. I gazed out of one of the hallway windows and saw the moors. I've always been fascinated with the stories my father would tell me about the creatures that live there. We made it to the dining hall and I sat down next to my father and sister. My mother sat down next to my father and bowed her head at Amy. "It's always good to see you Princess Amy. How's your mom?" Mother asked. "She's doing well. Everyone in the Floral kingdom is just buzzing about the upcoming wedding" Amy said. "Of course, I'm looking forward to the event as well" Mother said.
